Upgrading the starter wiring on a Ducati Monster S4 form 2001. I alway had an issue when starting the S4 it would start but never on the button, Here I am upgrading the starter wiring with the Exact Start kit.
Edited out the starter turning over at the end lol.. What a waste of time, obviously didnt change a thing. Often the solinoid gets dirty contacts and can restrick the current. A slow start can also be related to a cam sensor.
The solenoid had previously been replaced and made no difference. Changing to a better wiring helps the flow, if you check on a lot of forums this is a common problem on many ducatis. I've had 3 monsters prior to this bike but remember this monster is 23 years old and age plays a part. Thank you for your comment as it is always helpful to get different options.
