Yes, those gray big boxs are speed cameras. Beware, those are everywhere, especially in the cities where 30 kmh speed limit is:( Great bike but the video is too short:)

Hi Smokey! After this travel experience with the new RS I ask you for a couple of pieces of information: 1) the cylinders are between the legs like on the V4S.....does it still heat up a lot or does the carbon fiber bulkhead they implemented solve the "heat" problem quite well? 2) are the vibrations transmitted from the handlebars to the arms felt a lot compared to the V4S?? I know they removed the rubber to have more feeling between the wheel and steering. THANK YOU SO MUCH AS ALWAYS for your precious advice.

1 : Like Chris said it was only 10 degrees so very cold. I could not feel much heat coming up. The rear bank shuts itself off under 15km/u and also when standing at a still so less heat coming up. 2 : About handling and vibrations , this bike is made to ride hard and it feels like riding on a sharp cutting knife. I like it a lot when riding hard but....as a daily rider I'm taking the V4S. And now the grand tour is so much more smoother and easy to ride. Will explain in upcoming video's 😊.

I noticed the same issue with my iPhone and the V4 Rally after riding and using the navigation system for several hours. It acted as though the charge via USB cable was not keeping up with the phone’s battery drain, or perhaps the heat buildup from continuous GPS use caused the battery to discharge and the phone to shut down. In my case, I just added a GPS mount and Garmin unit and used the built-in power cable (folded up alongside the dash power socket supply cable). My phone is much happier.

You were smart to avoid all those single tracks with the RS on stock tires. A DesertX would be a much better choice. The GM at my local Ducati Dealer is loaning me an RX during my next DesertX service. Should be in April.

I would get the new beeline moto that is coming out this year. The current one has a 3 day battery life, and doesn't drain your phone battery. But I would wait for the new one.

Which one is more agile and faster compared to m1000xr? Which one would you choose?

It's like comparing 2-stroke vs 4-stroke. One is more fun in high rpm's , the other has more torque and more fun in lower rpm's. Both are great bikes , I'm more of a 4stroke torque lover so I would go for the Multistrada 😎

wat doe je nou met die nieuwe kabel . je moet wel zorgen dat er geen elastiekje omblijft . altijd kabel los leggen . niet in een rondje . dat heb ik geleerd werkt dat als een transformator .

Zoveel filmpjes over de RS maar zo weinig nuttige info 😂 okeee die wheely’s en power laten me terugdenken aan mijn SFV4S maar vertel eens over verbruik met je hooligan rijgedrag 😅 en touring verbruik. Rij nu de Multi V4S maar volgende moet PP of RS worden… Standaard versie is te slap geveerd. Hoe is de Ohlins 2.0 active suspension? Hoe voelt het gewicht? Enzovoort 🫣

Ja dit is niet de review ride 😅. Ik moet nog veel leren wat mensen juist willen horen in een review. Dit is een tripje Duitsland beetje sportiever gereden. Drinken doet dat ding wel wat , is niet gemaakt zuinig te zijn maar is minstens wel 7.5L/100km. Die Ohlins is abnormaal goed! Veel verschillende standen en het zachtste is zeer comfortabel en op zijn hardste dat is gewoon rijden op een baksteen. Gewoon knetterhard! 😅 Is een heel agressieve en sportieve motor voor leuk mee te gaan vlammen zoals het ritje in de video. Maar nu heb ik de Grand Tour mee en je kan me oud noemen , maar ik verkies het hogere koppel , rustigere rijgedrag en het 19inch voorwiel boven de RS die vooral op snelheid gebaseerd is 😊

@@LifeofSmokeygrappig dat je juist andersom prefereert. Ik kom van een strakke Streetfighter V4S dus vandaar dat ik de ‘gewone’ Multistrada wat slap vindt. Heb de Pikes Peak nu ook twee keer gereden en die is al beter vandaar mijn zoektocht naar ervaringen met de RS om te zien of die nog beter is. 19” is top hoor maar in de zomer met warme temperaturen mis je dan wel de optie voor echt sportieve banden. Ga vooral door met enthousiast filmen maar ietsje meer detail vind ik wel tof 👌🏻 😂

Practically you download the Ducati up and connects with I think the Bluetooth and select in the menu Ducati connect and you have the navigation, but is a big problem the battery drains. In Italy a lot of people hate this problem and using Google maps or any other gps…sorry for my bad English

Yes BUT you need to download the Ducati Ride app AND the Sygic gps app also. You open the Ducati app and leave it open , then you go to the sygic app and enter location. Now you keep the ducati connect open so don't lock your phone or it's gone 😅. And your phone gets as hot as a frying pan 😂🙈
