Make sure to listen using good headphones or real speaker with some bass, and note this is the stock exhaust with catalytic converter and flapper valve. Tech talk: One superiority of a V4 compared to an inline 4 is that a V4 engine should technically be able to spin up faster due to the much lighter crankshaft. The crankshaft is the heaviest single component inside the engine, and when spinning at thousands of RPMs, that thing has tremendous rotational inertia. An inline 4 has a journal for each connecting rod because of the spacing, and is as long as the width of 4 cylinders in one plane. By contrast, a V4 is build with two opposite piston connecting rods sharing a single crank journal. This means the V4's crankshaft has only 2 (slightly wider) con-rod journals and is almost half the length of the crankshaft on an inline 4. This makes the crankshaft on a V4 much lighter than on an inline 4 and should be able to spin up the revs much quicker on paper.

Dont think the engine was warmed up as for the rattling sound.....he mentioned it being 4° outside in truck.......sure it sounds fine in normal consitions

That clutch needs a cover. Who wants a spinning exposed part of the engine right where their toes and ankle goes while riding or stopping at a light? Never mind if someone is stupid enough to be wearing laces near that thing.
