Thank you!! Super interested in the vlog style videos. Center mounted gopro on the helmet type view. Would love to hear the bike moving. Idling just doesn't compare. Thank you for continuing to post this bike!
Beautiful bike. Love the the color scheme I have 2023 Panigale v4s. Amazing bikes!!! Hands down my favorite yet. Your right mirrors suck for sure. I replaced them with the rizomi stealth mirrors. They don’t vibrate but are very small. When in tucked position it’s hard to see what is directly behind you. I almost have to lift up my arms and look under my arm. As far as wheelies take wheelie control to lowest setting and go race mode. Ride safe 👍
I've got the 21reg V4S with the wings, I'm 6'2" and had problems with the seat sliding into the tank, I got the comfy seat from Ducati and it's transformed the riding position for me, having seen the new V4SP2 in black with carbon fibre wheels I'm thinking about trading mine in next year
Its funny how outdated my 2019 looks compared to your 2021. Now that all bikes have wings the non-winged bikes from 4 years ago look much older. I do like that Black V4SP2!
I’ve got an Italian bike too (Tuono V4 Factory latest model) and just want to say your bike is a beauty 😍 love that color scheme. An RC51 is on my wonna have list as well. The damn things get more expensive every month ☺️… wish I’d bought one a couple of years ago ☺️ that front wheel staying 1 foot of the ground def is your bike electronics doing its thing… enjoy your rides.. 👍
Gorgeous bike...I believe it was from 2019? Love the Arrow exhaust except for how it leaves the back half of the underbelly fairing bare. Do you know if Ducti or any aftermarket company, or even Arrow makes a back half piece? I feel it would complete the look of the bike. I have a 2023 SP2 and I got the Termignoni black titanium underbelly exhaust and love it. Because it's black, and the bike being black, it kind of streamlined the look and didn't look as bare. But I love how your bike looks. You thinking of getting any matte or carbon pieces to cover the side frames? Or the front fender and rear hugger? Great video.
Yeah it's a 2019. I agree with you on the fairing, I wish pipe companies would take the lead on that and include a lower fairing that matches their pipe. I don't think I'm adding any matte or carbon pieces, I know they are light but I don't like the idea of adding weight just for looks. Thanks for your comment bro!
Cylinders deactivation is for heat control, I have the new R and is unbearable the heat blowing straight to your legs when is super hot outside like down here in Texas, Hell heat
I can imagine that the R is even more extreme with the heat. I'm surprised what a difference the air temperature can make towards engine temperature. Hell heat, ha ha!
Really good video, thank you. Your bike looks awesome, I love that colour scheme. Could you tell me what the heat from the exhaust is like please? I’ve read a lot of comments about how uncomfortable it gets so I’m curious to hear what you think
Thanks man! Yeah when I first got the bike I was really concerned about that as well. It really has to do with what the air temperature is. When temps are at 90 degrees F or more then the bike is really hot on the right side. You feel the heat on your hamstring to your rear, and yes it's uncomfortable. If you are moving at 70mph or more in those temps then it improves but stop and go traffic is extremely hot. When the the temps are in the 70 to 80 degree range then it's not that bad at all. We went for an early ride the other day and temps were around 50 degrees and we were actually hoping for more heat from the bike in that situation. My buddy has the Speciale version of this bike and he thought the same. I wouldn't think air temperature would affect the engine heat so much but it does. So overall, don't let the heat concerns stop you from buying this bike, it's a blast! Thanks again!
Thanks so much for that. It’s my dream bike but the heat kept getting mentioned. I live in Ireland so air temperature won’t be a problem here. Take care and thanks for your video and the advice 🙏👍
Someone commented the below on one of my other videos: All Ducati models with a V4 engine, have cylinder deactivation. The bike will shut off the rear bank at idle with the clutch in, or in neutral. The Ducati Panigale base, S, SP, SP2 and Streetfighter have the same engine (1106cc). The Ducati V4R and V4 Superleggera have the same engine (998cc) with titanium valves, titanium valve guides and titanium rods.
@DasGoodMoto my gixxer was 178bhp,but my previous bikes 99r1 zx7 120 to 150hp,i can't believe all these bikes are capable of 200mph insane love that Ducati you have great paint scheme, my buddy has a 21 s model loves, unfortunately here in kc the dealership is terrible
I just got ducati panigale v4 2023 it homicidal bike out box 196 at rear to me unless u really in track .that more then enough considering that new bmw s1000rr out box 163 at rear and rest of Japanese bike heavily restricted all about 160 if that .that another reason why 40k bike is worth every penny need nothing besides good riding skills.
No base 2023 v4 .plus don't forget v4 has more mid range torque then v4r plus moded as far as hp 215 to 217 to rear That 235 at crank .plus on e 85 225 at rear and that 243 at crank .ppl think 30k v4 is slow cuz it 30k not 40k .it wrong .😅
That probably makes more sense why people hate it so much if they were already used to the 1199/1299. Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't heard that comparison yet.
There is a kit for it but it’s more like a conversion. It’s a complete different tail section so not easy to swap back and forth. The stock bike did come with unmounted passenger pegs and there is a factory spot to mount them. I thought about buying the tail just to have it but I doubt I’d swap it. The KTM RC8R set the standard of how bikes should look without the passenger seat, and it mounts on so easy. I wish Ducati would copy that design.
