Thank you for the overview. I’m deciding which bike to go for between the Desert Sled and the DesertX for a Baja trip next year. Based on the air filter replacement procedure, I am almost sure it is going to be the Desert Sled. So much easier than what I see from the DesertX…
I do think the scrambler is much easier to maintain then the desertx as it has less plastics and fairings but on the other hand I'm sure the desertx is better and more comfortable for adventures, can't really talk about the desertx myself as I haven't seen or ridden one yet 😄
