Desert X and the new Desert X rally really sounds good, but I don't see the point that why didn't Ducati gave tubeless tyres for Desert X rally where the standard Desert X gets the tubeless tyres.
Tubed tyres can be saviours in extremely rough conditions. If you manage to dent/bend the rim on some rocks, it’s still possible to bend it somewhat back into shape and continue riding slowly to safety. With a tubeless rim, it’s impossible to restore the seal and you’d be completely stuck with the flat tyre. Tubeless tyres are great for regular off-road conditions where you’re more likely to experience a puncture than a bent rim… So the tubed tyres match well with the Rally theme here
