Hey mate in order to get access to the Allen key bolt that removes the baffle I needed to drill a 5mm hole on the inside of the carbon tip. After that I just plugged it with a rubber plug. Thanks for watching man👍

I had the same problem too I contacted sc project directly and they recommend between 5-7 I have mine set at 5 1/2 as it’s too rich after that and backfires too much. Hope this helps mate

Hi Curtis, I have another question for you concerning your new SC Project Exhaust. Did you have to order the AFR controller separately or did it just come with the exhaust? I went looking locally for the same Conic here in Canada and I didn’t see the Controller advertised in the description. Thank you, Todd
Hey Todd, yeah I had to purchase it separately unfortunately was an extra couple hundred dollars Australian for memory. I know guys that didn’t buy it and just fitted the pipe without that had no troubles however I wanted it just for piece of mind in case I chose to adjust anything👍

So was that sound with or without the baffle? If it was without, did it sound nice with it? Did you have to do any adjustments with the electronics that were provided or was that just a plug and play? Does it need to be readjusted after the baffle was removed? Thank you, Todd
Hey Todd this was without the baffle I personally loved it, not too loud. The unit was plug and play which came with instructions for adjusting if you want to run it a little richer or a little leaner, I set mine as the manufacturer recommended right in the middle. Hope this helps mate.
Hello matte I just watched your video. I have scramblers sixty2 400cc and planning to change the exhaust pipe. If you install AFM with sc project muffler we don't need to remap the ECU? Thanks
Hi mate I’m not sure for the 400 because they’re different engines. I’m sure it could be done but I would just check with SC Project. Thanks for watching.
do you know if this exhaust is also good for my scrambler 2022? Cause i read all the pages and they say that is compatible only with the 2015 and 2016.
@@hutchdr5678 ah gotcha the afm it’s a plug in unit that sc project supply with at a cost with their exhaust pipes. The purpose is to adjust the air fuel mixture via the little knob so I doesn’t run too lean and overheat with the new aftermarket pipe.
@@anotherguyonabike4726 oh thanks! Did they recommend it on the exhaust for ducati? I receive mine today, but i wasn’t aware of the afm😬😬🤦♂️. I have to call them about it and see if i will need that! Thanks!
@@hutchdr5678 yeah Ducati recommend it. Some people don’t worry about it and risk it but we have super hot summers here in Australia so it was worth the extra $200-300 to not cook my engine. You could use the bike without it temporarily but I would personally still buy one and throw it on hope this helps mate.
