Hello, I own a Diavel v4 for three days please can you give me the code for the oil filter to get it from the trade, also i can use oil 10w-50 oil composition? Thanks!!
Hey thanks man, I have a 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 and I'm going to start changing the oil myself. I have had the dealership do it so far to document for the warranty. I have Put on 13,000 miles since this March. How do you document for the factory warranty. By the way I installed a Termignoni Dragster Titanium Exhaust on my Diavel V4 at 11,500 miles and also Upmapped it. 😂 See Slow Rider Ducati.
Save your receipts when you purchase the oil, that should be adequate documentation. By law, they can only invalidate your warranty if they can prove something you did caused the failure. Changing your oil yourself with a reputable brand is not something they can deny your warranty for as long as you can prove you did it.
The bolts I use are M8-1.25x30 and they fit perfectly. Changing your oil yourself does not cause any new lights to appear or void your warranty, but I have also not found a way to clear the oil change light that occurs on the bike without going to the dealership. My dealership charges me a quarter hour labor to clear the light only.
My dealer will clear the code and update the computers for about half of an hour labor rate, talk to yours about it! Still searching for a third party option, nothing seems available for the V4 yet
@@jayzpadilla09unfortunately I've not found any cost-effective or reliable means of doing this, I still go to my local dealer who for $50 will reset the service light and also download any updates that may be available for these bikes. Ducati pushes out updates roughly every 6 months joe I would imagine even an at home option to clear the light won't get you these.
