I may have found the best audio/video combo for motovlogging! I really do prefer the ‪@DJI‬ Osmo Action 3 paired with the DJI Mic over the conventional ‪@GoPro‬ Hero 11 and LAv mic setup. Of course, more rides on all of my bikes, the Ducati V4S, Harley Davidson Street Glide and Pan America will tell the ultimate tale over time, but right now, I'd say this combo is hard to beat!

Great video Steve, I have the gopro hero 9 and use a RODE lav mic but the sound quality is very poor , had this dji mic setup in mind for some time now, but now seeing more motovloggers doing it, i look forward to give it a try, the sound quality is epic, also i can use the second mic to record the exhaust sound from my back pocket ( hopefully works :D ) Thank you for sharing.

How did you keep the receiver secured? I would be afraid of it flying off. I would consider adding a rubber band to help secure it

I actually bought a small square 3M magnet and placed it inside the helmet, then the transmitter sticks to that. It makes it great for getting off the bike and being able to use the wireless transmitter to film and capture great audio when clogging off the bike. Then when I want to get back on the bike, just put the transmitter back in the helmet and off you go!

@TheSteveFreeman I was talking about the receiver that's plugged into the camera on the outside of your helmet. How do you keep it secure, or does it fit pretty tight?

@@BlackBirdieGolf oh yeah, the USB C connector fits to the camera pretty snug! I haven’t had any issues at all

Can you have a DJI mic in the helmat and at the back of the bike, a DJI mic to to pickup pipes ?

Absolutely! The DJI Mic comes with 2 transmitters and you can set the gain independently on each.

I have a Little stupid question before buy dji mic. I asked to u because you have a High Speed moto same of me, at High Speed dji mic stay connected to the osmo A3? I have fear that fly away because are connected to the camera only by usbC port😢

Hi there. I Run this Setup with my Turbo Busa. 190mph + never come Loose. At first I was a little concerned with only attached by USB C. But it stays in Place very secure. Greetings from Germany 🏍️👍🏻
