Some bikes are a bit confused about what type of bike they are meant to be. Is that a problem? In the case of the Ducati XDiavel S, it seems that it might not be! Harry takes a closer look.
The bikes concept was designed and developed in South Africa by Dave Frisoli. Ducati took his prototype to the next level. Frisoli like his Dad Ricardo is a genius .
I absolutely love that Ducati - it is a dream come true to me - why? Well I always wanted a cool looks of a cruiser/chopper but I just couldn˛t get over the too much weight, low agility and shitty performance. So I went with SS bikes instead leaving my heart hungry. When this came out it was as if Ducati read my mind - perfection :)
I bought this bike in 2017 because of its huge rear tyre and its overall design, pretty sexy hihi.. I am happy with it, really really awesome. Tq bro..🤓👍✊
HI gents. I know that I am way late in commenting on this, I only just found the video this evening. I really appreciated the review. I own an 03 V-Rod and while the xDiavel is more powerful, in my own test ride of the x, my personal conclusion is that it's not as strong as the V-Rod and was more uncomfortable. To each his or own. Now that a year has passed, I would be very interested in seeing a side by side comparison of the Diavel and the xDiavel. I've ridden both, but an hour in the saddle of each does not make for a good framework for a comparo. Thanks in advance for the consideration
I am big fan of the bike show, PROUDLY VAN DIE SUID!!..was wondering whats a better bike to step up from my 125cc gomoto zr to a bigger one?, was wondering KTM RC390 or honda 2016 500rr
I would say that the 390 has a bit more hooligan appeal and is a brilliant bike. The Honda; we haven't ridden it but if it is like all the other Honda products it will last for years and be very well made.
So I'm pretty convinced this will be my dream bike. If I wanted something similar on an A2 license, what do people think of the Kawasaki Vulcan S? It shares the same engine as the ER6.
The Vulcan S is my dream bike - I've only met one owner so far, he had just taken it on a long trip round Italy and said it was one of the best and most comfortable bikes he's owned in 40 years.
I have both the Vulcan S and the Xdiavel. The vulcan will outdo the Xdiavel in the turns BUT on the straights...forget it. The Vulcan corners extremely well and a good seating position. Brakes are shit though. The Xdiavel is a better experience.
nofoyourbusiness thanks for the response. I actually saw a diesel the other day and it left me for dust at the lights, I imagine the xdiavel can probably do better.
I can’t believe anyone buys a Harley-Davidson every year we head for the Rockies to ride we always transported our bikes on a truck we bought just for transporting our ikes two Ducati’s and a hyabusa great bikes not rideable for the 800 mulies so we found this beautiful machine and we will be riding all the way that’s 800 Mille each way can’t wait
im not 100% convinced about the looks. the back end looks similar to my rocker c - which I am actually replacing tomorrow with a new zx14. the front looks like an mt09.... I can find myself having a second or even 6th look at it, just give it time for it to grow on me...
Ducati's are double pleasure machines. First time when bought, second time when sold... BTW, how many km's did you put on it in 4 years? 4000? Just curious.
