Ducati's 2017 XDiavel S brings a lot of power and new style to the cruiser game, but does it bring the comfort that cruiser riders are looking for?
The Ducati XDiavel S is a drastic change from the cruiser norm-that's apparent straight out of the box. The lines are so Ducati, hell the horsepower is so Ducati. And in their eyes, this bike is a true American cruiser. It has the low seat height, unarguably cruiser-esque lines, and forward foot controls but there are also a few parts of the ride that feel so far from what I would call "cruising."
While parts of this bike truly read like a sportbike rider's off-target vision of a cruiser, it also gets the blood pumping in a way not a lot of cruisers do. Is it a true cruiser? If not, is that a bad thing? Check out the video and make the decision for yourself.

I went for it because it is has the best safety features on any cruiser. U name a cruiser with MSC or C-ABS

It's one of those pseudo motorcycle gloves that have somehow become trendy and which won't do an iota of anything in a crash, aside from possibly absorb some blood coming out of the heavily-lacerated hands. But, hey, Brad Pitt wears these gloves, especially that time when he fell off his motorcycle trying to lane split in stopped traffic.

Isn't an "XDiavel with mid controls option" just called the Diavel?

This. They HAVE mid controls on a bike that almost identical. The X is the one with the forward controls. Lol. That's the point.

awesome video, however comfort? I use to ride Fat Boy and this one is 100 times comfortable. Just my point of view. Thanks.

Ive been riden mine since april 2016 and ya suspension little stiff but i have Termis exaust on my so puts around 170 hp and i ride that bitch hard and dont need mid foot controls and sure as shit wouldent want softer suspension !!! I have mine on full stiff but i ride her hard she loves it hard scrap the pegs every conner so last thing u want is soft suspension hahha

More screen time of bike. I clicked on the vid to see the bike, not the selfie queen riding it. Throw your helmet & jacket on the kitchen table, put the camera on a tripod and chat away if you think that's what we want to see.
