I’ve always used that same DC call. I use their teal call to. No need to spend a fortune on a call. We don’t get mallards here in my neck of the woods in Florida.
Yes Jase does sound really good, but you do a really good job of explaining each call. His and Joel's video can be confusing if you don't know what a Woodie sounds like. Thanks.

Sean Engel it took me a few hours but I’ll do my best. The hen and drake call I do 1st is based on the pressure and speed of air blown into the call. I increase the pressure and cut it off really fast to give it that “whip” sound. That is the most common sound. I make a feeding mallard sound (tooka tooka tooka really fast) to make the clicking sound. The others are pressure based and how you squeeze your hand to cut off the air. I hope that helps.
