We’ve seen a lot of cartoon reboots in recent years, most of which have been critically blasted for being low-effort cash grabs that often miss what made the original show so great. The 2017 Ducktales reboot is a very notable exception to this. In addition to being a love letter to the entire Disney Afternoon programming block, it was praised for delivering an enjoyable modern take on the classic show, with engaging storylines, a good sense of humor, and of course, an expansive cast of memorable characters.
But who of these characters are the most good, and which ones are truly the most villainous? That’s what we’re here to figure out today.

Well seeing how she only appeared three times in the show and we really don't know a whole lot about her, they probably left her out to focus on the characters with more screentime, known background, and relative importance to the overarching plot.

Well technically Launchpad is Smart. I mean he may not come up with plans but he can pilot nearly any vehicle and his tendency to crash has some positive effects. Plus while he isn't smart, he's got a big heart and knows what to say to encourage others, as we seen Launchpad encourage a fellow Darkwing Duck fan to become Darkwing

Very nice list. I really thought that this reboot was better than the original in many ways. I don't think that you talked about Huey enough. Also, Magica's name is mispronounced. I'm with the other people who would like to see the original DuckTales on this list.

I almost definitely would say that for the top 3, I’d have to go Bradford for the bronze, Magica for silver, and Lunaris for the gold. Mainly because Bradford does have some redeeming qualities unlike Magica, and didn’t go as far as planetary destruction the way Lunaris did. Plus, Lunaris didn’t just pull his invasion out of nowhere, he planned to do it for years.

DuckTales was the most excellent reboot of a classic 80s animated series. I love all the characters, the episodes, the music, and the adventures they go on. This is one of the shows I could look fondly back at and not get sick of it. Thank Disney!

I think what makes Magica beat Bradford is how crazy and unpredictable she can be. Bradford is certainly very bad, has one of the worst intentions of all villains and certainly doesn't care about anyone but himself, but he doesn't take much pleasure in doing evil for no apparent reason (with a few moments that serve as exceptions) and tries to disguise this evil side unlike Magica who always enjoys the suffering of others and basically gives in to evil

I still disagree Bradford actually had Magica disgusted by his crimes and hypocrisy and Magica as a whole shouldn't even be in the top 3 since Lunaris and Bulba did much worse than both Bradford and Magica

You know what. After seeing the whole thing, I think Bradford Buzzard should’ve been the best villain even if he denies it. If only he hasn’t been hateful of all adventurous things including getting rid of his brothers and Black Heron, maybe things would be a bit different. He deserves to be at the very top, because he wants to do world domination secretly in the shadows without drawing to much attention or suspicions. That way his organization can be extremely powerful and dangerous without causing destruction. Bradford or most of his FOWL agents are not like Magica or Lunaris who were bent on destruction and chaos which were crazy and downright evil. He sees through Scrooge McDuck and his family as a danger to society even though most of these events wasn’t their fault. To put his plans of world domination in motion by breaking the McDuck’s inside by taking advantage of their adventurous nature by telling Della about the Spear of Selene which she immediately stole an d did an unauthorized flight which caused her to fly into an unpredictable cosmic storm that made her crashed on the Moon and be stranded there for a decade. He succeeded into making Scrooge a complete recluse and cut ties with family until Huey, Dewey, and Louie came along and ignited his spirit. Even though McDuck is adventurous again and Della came back home, Bradford witness chaos that were connected to them like the Shadow War to General Lunaris’ invasion even if it wasn’t their doing. Not to mention Glomgold is a disgusting nuisance because of he mayhem to destroy Scrooge and be the richest duck in the world. Bradford can conclude that after seeing these destructive events that are somehow connected to the McDuck family from the first two seasons, and instead of wiping out everything and everyone adventurous and unpredictable, he and members of F.O.W.L. want to permanently eliminate the McDuck Family and everyone closely connected to them both good and bad. That way the organization can rule the world from the shadows unopposed.

Lunaris flat out tried to destroy the earth and Bradford intended to wipe out every single being who was even remotely associated with adventures from existence, not to mention that the former is Pure Evil while the latter is Near Pure Evil, it was bad enough when they ranked Marcus, someone who isn't even Inconsistently Heinous, as the most evil villain in the Pokemon Anime in their Pokemon Anime Villains: Evil to Most Evil, higher than all the Pure Evils(including Cyrus who attempted omnicide) and Near Pure Evils, simply because he tried to kill Arceus, despite the fact that Arceus, as important as he is, is still only one Pokemon, and now they rank Magica as the most evil, even though Lunaris and Bradford are clearly worse, also they mispronounced Magica.
