The DuckTales games on NES and Game Boy were incredible platformer games back when they were released in the early 90's, and they still hold up today. But did you know that there was another DuckTales game on MS-DOS released around the same time? Let's see if this one still holds up too!

the NES/GB game is the Ducktales game i never knew existed. the IBM/Amiga one i played to death as a kid :)

Played it on my Amiga 500. The gfx were nicer and it even featured voice samples!

I don’t doubt that it was popular with many kids. It was probably the first video game I ever owned and personally I loved it. But the platform games were arguably more popular and therefore the DOS version was the forgotten one of the lot. 😀

@@SomeBigKidStuff We played this IBM DOS pc. My older brother copied the game from a friend I believe. But yeah, the NES game was more popular for sure
