DUDLEY Hippodrome Demolition .start to finish Compilation 

Fair play, probably the best demolition footage ive seen and great music too!

Ridden the number 74 bus past that all through my childhood on the way to and back from St Edmunds CoE school top of Kates hill, i lived in the iron house at the bottom of bunns lane, doubt there's much left of the fifties and sixties Dudley i knew, the memories remain though, a great start to life in a nice neat well ordered town, full of every trade and profession known, i seem to remember the town boasted three cinemas once, the Plaza, the Odeon and the Criterion.

This makes me want to cry so many landmarks gone, wished I was born in the 20s wouldn't have to see all this going

What a fantastic video and excellent drone footage,it's a shame they couldn't save it but I fear the costs to get it back into use would of been to much,I have been in there so many times when it was a bingo hall,keep up the great work

Does anybody remember the roller skating rink next door to the Hippodrome There was another one near top church together with the four cinemas

great video thanks! have you ever done drone footage over or along the new dudley tram route that is being built? it would be interesting to see the progress. it is supposed to open in 2024 but i'm not sure that they are on schedule?

Not quite "start" surely? Or was there always a gaping hole in the back wall with a big pile of rubble?
