My best friend and I meet when we were 9& 10 we are now 64 & soonto be 65. We mais of honor in each other's weddings they are still going great ar 45 yrs. Friendship's are like a great marriage they grow and evolve as we age. Enjoy your time together ❤️
Every time I see Joy and Carlin together, it takes me a few minutes to remember that the two are not actually related. It always feels like you are sisters or at least cousins! Very sweet of you to share a few moments of your conversation and reminiscences with us. 😊
I know I use to watch both families on TV. I remember the episode of the Duggars going on vacation and they stopped at Carlin's families house and stayed a night or two with them. That was a long time ago before the Bringing Up Bates even aired and Joy and her family had their RV's there at the Bates house. That was so awesome and fun watching y'all's family show on TLC now y'all are all grown up, besties, and have families of your own. Yayyyyy
My best friend of 35 years is British. We struck up a conversation in Central Park Manhattan and exchanged postal information because we really felt we knew each other forever. Now whenever I go to London every six months to a year we pick up as if it were yesterday. Those are the best of friends especially when your children can call her an auntie

I really enjoy the Forthsyth family videos. Its nice to occasionally see the younger Dugger kids and how they are growing up. Whenever I see Josie I immediately think of the first time we saw her tiny self in the incubator. God is good!!! There is no doubt, miracles are real.
Or… science Look at how many babies didn’t survive when born with any little thing wrong. Families were purposely having a bunch of kids for the purpose of having some left when a lot of them inevitably die.

Its a blessing to have a best friend, I've had my best friend over 43 years now we talk every day and do things together all the time. I thank God for that blessing that he gave me. Glad you had a good time while your Hubby was away.

Not every instance of dragging someone else down is to elevate yourself. Some people don’t deserve to have their terribly ways hidden. Everyone has the right to talk about their trauma, even when it’s caused by others. Some people are sick and deserve to be exposed because it helps others who may be going through the same thing

And sorry to say it, but a LOT of Christian’s, Jim bob for example will hide behind their religion and use it to excuse actions over and over again. Christian’s get dragged down because of their poor actions and hypocrisy that you see in about half of them. I have a best friend that I met in my 20s at my first office job. We are still best friends to this day, we went through a lot of life moments together including new relationships and marriages, having babies, break ups and divorces, losing grandparents and parents and aunts and uncles, losing friends, moving, changing jobs and changing careers, and we are in our 40s now and we cry and laugh about it all. My best friend and I have known each other since 1978. Forty-five years! We were in each others weddings and she watched my children when I had to go back to work. We may not see each other for months but we can always pick up where we left off. That’s what friends are for!

Totally enjoyed this video! Made me think of my bff. We were an odd pair when we first got together (our families knew each other) as there was a five year age gap between us. That’s nothing now but as kids, that’s huge. But we just knew. And 30 years later we are still bff’s, though we don’t see each other often as she lives in Costa Rica. I am 55 years old and still have my 2 best friends from childhood. One of my friends was my next door neighbor, our moms were pregnant at the same time she is 6months and 1 day older than me we have remained best friends to this day, our other friend lived 3 doors down from me and we all met when we were around 5 years old we have all 3 been best friends our entire lives still to this day!!! I don’t know many people who are lucky enough to have those kind of friendships!! So great to see you and Carlin catching up and enjoying each others company!!
