@@plumberlance Of course we’re all projecting/ guessing, but I think you’re wrong. At least double that output. Maluach averaged 19 points and 13 rebounds in a league with grown men. Unlike Mark Williams and Derek Lively, he is extremely comfortable shooting from the outside in game situations. Against Team USA, he sank a three pointer and a 15 footer. Moreover, Scheyer scolded Foster in a practice video for not getting the ball to Maluach. “He’s 7’2” “, Scheyer yelled. “Get him the ball every play. That opens the offense up for everybody!”
@@TalkingBall2 Some observers see him as a raw, underdeveloped talent. Perhaps that’s the case. But he is already the focal point of what Duke is doing offensively. He draws his man away from the basket because he’s a willing shooter. That leaves the paint open for guards to exploit, not to mention the open jumpers afforded by double teams.
@@timothybullock5418 I think part of that comes from his performance in the Nike Hoop Summit. I thought he looked better especially with his jumper as you mentioned in the Olympics with South Sudan. The spacing is a big deal especially if he is playing with Maliq Brown for instance
