I haven't had a lot of luck with the Duke Cannon Shaving cream, but I love the balm. The cream I feel I just can't make a good lather with and it doesn't really perform well during my shaves.

Can the cream be used without a brush or lathering it up? I only ask because I bought it but I don't have the tools necessary to make it into a lather like you did. Great video!

I just recently bought the new Vikings Blade emperor. This is a beautiful safety razor. It is built like a tank. Also has a great deal of weight. I’m going to use this razor on my next shave.

CVS has a DE razor too! It looks like a replica of the Cheiftain!! I bought it and it has become one of my favorites!! The brand is their brand Blade. It will tame an aggressive blade in my opinion. It retails at $14.99. Very reasonable and comes with a 5 blade dispenser. The blades are actually pretty good! Definitely worth trying for not a whole lot of money! I also purchased a Vikings Blade Crusader !! I got it off Ebay for just $33!! It was only used less than a handful of times! He also threw in 40 of the Vikings blades and some other packs! Can't wait to try it!

The Chieftain is a replica of a cheap Chinese razor. Vikings Blade razors are trash. Get a Merkur or a vintage Gillette for better quality and less money.

Great video!! I too have used both the shave cream & the after shave & absolutely love it!! Actually purchased a few other items like beard wash/oil/balm & a bar of soap. Great scent also!! Duke Cannon is definately my go to brand!!

Mark, you should try Pure by Gillette, lathering shave cream. There several Pure products, this is the lathering cream in a 6 oz squeeze tube. Available in stores, pretty much everywhere. Simple ingredient list, slick, good lathering,very good protection and gentle. Dirt cheap at Walmart, about $6 for 6 oz.

I use their bar soap and underarm deodorant. For the price, it lasts a good while and gets the job done that the company promises. I could do without the hyper-faux-manly marketing angle, since it's based on romanticized versions of the Old West and World War II that are far removed from the often terrible reality of those eras. The sandalwood and amber deodorant smells great and lasts a good while-both in application and length of use. The bar soap, being so large compared to most bath soaps today, also lasts a good while. You definitely get your money's worth with the company's products.

I like ur positivity BUT you never give a critical in any way review of any product? Why? I use the aftershave on this video. it is good but long term I prefer a splash. I also use Viking products, but the Emporer is definitely better than the Crusador,,,, please give your self credibility with some variance in "critical reviews".

Noted.:) I tend to review things I really like.:) I'll try to give a few cons here and there to balance things out.:) In fact, I thought I did that here in talking about the after shave balm and it's sports cream type scent which may be a turnoff to some.
