Hey Chris nice quick shave not what i was expexting , lol. I accidentley stumbled upon Paul's channel many years ago, i can honestly say he introduced me to wet shaving and i havent looked back since . Fuck its expensive sometimes , im learning to control myself these days . Keep up the good work mate always a pleasure viewing your videos . Like they say "Take it easy , and if it's easy take it home " 🤣🤣🤣
I really enjoy Paul's channel as well and you're right on two fronts - firstly, he is a great bloke... and secondly that lather is far too wet for a Paul H lather! :D
@@antoniowimer I really enjoy Paul's videos... he sometimes wets up his lather on the second or third pass "for you wet heads" which always makes me chuckle.
Crackin' vid Cris. Whether I create a more voluptuous wet lather or dense drier lather I don't give a "". It's all works great! My granddad always used to tell me don't over think it unless your building a bridge or building. It all works!
I enjoy a shiny sheeny slick voluminous nourishing fragrant lather. Everything else is just getting me by in a pinch. Its one of the most appealing parts of wet shaving to me.
Have you ever tried out one of the shaving bowls by Captain's Choice? Absolutely my favorite bowl to use whenever I don't feel like doing a face/head lather.
I'm firmly in the Paul H. camp when it comes to lather and always get a good laugh from the folks who take 20 minutes to build a lather. Some people turn lathering into an absolute fetish as far as I'm concerned. But as another gent wrote, to each his own. Go with whatever works for you.
Yeah it's the enjoyable part of shaving for me and I like to oush the soaps! It also allows me to use my extensive brush range for longer per shave hahaha but I will. Acknowledge it doesn't affect the shave like I thought it would!
I have 2 others in my house that squeeze the toothpaste tube in the middle. One is Mrs. Blade4vor, soo... Anyway, I'm glad you got a good shave, Cris, but that dry lather would've left my face on fire. Each to his own, I guess. I still enjoy PaulH Films. Great guy! Cheers! -Rob
It's all I have now buddy, in stainless and aluminium. Along with my leaf and my feather AC! Don't really need anything else to be fair lol I found my holy grail and it doesn't bore me! 😂 Thankfully lol
@@AnotherCutAbove That sounds pretty good actually. I rotate through a lot of razors for the sake of content but some aren’t as enjoyable as others. I would like to use some more than I’m able to:)
Yes just love that Thayers Medicated witch hazel but just to let you know they are stopping making it so get it while you can I am stocked up on some because I just love the old barber's shop smell I remember from when I was a kid. What I like about it too is that it raises those last few whiskers on my beard under the jawline and makes buffing them off so easy. By the by where is your accent from?
I like using the shaving creams in the tube when I shave my head I still have a bunch of soaps that I haven’t used in a long time I’m growing my beard so all I have to shave my head take care
Nice vid. I think PaulH has his shave frosting dryer than yours. I on the contrary favor a rather runny/wet lather....it's a matter of physics: dry has more friction.....wet=less friction slides better. But to each it's own favorite method.
I started watching his channel about 5 years ago I was watching him and the stallion on RU-vid that’s when everything got expensive so I was like I wanna try that way of shaving
