The Alpha Ecliptic is a tricky razor to use. I find it is aggressive and you have to be careful not to over shave with it. Have a great weekend.

Hi Mark. Great shaving video. Love the Phoenix shaving brush, I actually bought the same one a few weeks ago. Really nice brush. Nice and soft. Got a nice vintage took to it, with the colouring and design, Goes perfectly with the lather bowl you used. (Really lovely bowl). Take care Mark.

Matt, the Green Ray was one of the last Phoenix shaving brushes I considered. And, it's become one of my favorites along wtih the Starcraft. The StarCraft was another brush that was low on the list. Like the Green Ray, I've really come to enjoy it a lot.:)

I have had that razor for sometime. I'll have to revisit it. How would you rate it vs a Konsul setting? I know that might not be possible because of the different design. I do remember how hard it was to get under my nose, really had to work at it, but it worked. Going to put a Voskhod in it for the tonights shave!

We all keep repeating ourselves...Great video. I have been using the Duke Cannon After Shave Balm since I started wet shaving. It is my favorite balm. Great post shave feel, refreshing, cooling and soothing. The bonus is that it has a great scent and is alcohol free. Thanks for the videos.
