Yes, they were. It was a marriage of hell for Marina. She tried to divorce George 3 times and had attempted to run away with a lover to America after his death. You know quite a bit.

Really? Arranged? I've never heard this ......out of all of the royal documentaries I've watch , I always thought these two looked the happiest together! Well apart from King Gearge and Queen Elizabeth , but even she said she married him because she felt it was her " duty " and she learned to love him afterwards. And The Duke of Kent being a drug addict and a pretty open by sexual man , his wife must have loved him knowing all of this and still wanted him to father her children. There must have been love there somewhere! I mean you can't " pity " f..k someone you can't stand to be around for many , many years bearing his children , smiling happily , and being a heart broken widow all over an arranged marriage! My personal belief is they were probably more close then people realize , friends even and perhaps entered into thier Union fully knowing each other's faults and accepting each other unquestionly , each with their own agenda of course!! Europe was pretty short on Princes at this time , Marina was already in her late 20's , wanted a family , time would have been running out her her , he needed a wife to get hops family off his back about his transgressions with his male suitors , his motherbQueen Mary had already paid out 10.000 for letters he had sent to a young man in Paris.......so they agreed to marry as it fixed both of their issues! He promised her a family , with children and she promised him a wife , asking no questions as long as he told no lies!! I don't know any of this!! I'm just making up this story in my head as I go along!! 😂 Because I love romance and I think they always looked lovely together!! 😂

I mean to be in an arranged marriage , give him 4 beautiful , healthy children , act happily married in public and private!!! I don't know! I just think they both had some sort of connection outside being FORCED into wedlock???
