I do not agree that Queen Rania is “flavorless”. She is beautiful, gracious, highly intelligent, well-educated and forward-looking. In my opinion, she is exemplary and an ideal consort for Jordan’s king.

It sickens me to see her cavorting with the then prince Charles yet never taking a stand on the mistreatment of Palestinians in Gaza. She remains mum because of all the American taxpayers money she and her husband receive to keep Palestinians contained in Jordan instead of their birth place ( Rania is Palestinian) The Jordanians complete existence is funded by American taxpayers. Hamsah was accused of trying to take over as King, and even if he was innocent, it is likely there were those who were not. Abdullah had no choice but to take action or his rule would not have survived. Abdullah is a good king - astute and Western oriented like his father. He has kept Jordan from extremism.
