You guys seem to get along really well and try to keep as calm as you can in these intense situations. I am glad you have the sense to turn around and go the other way when they get too close. No close-up shot is worth getting killed over.
@@0rokuSakiYep. I have no problem calling him out. Reed Timmer is an embarrassment to every credible storm chaser out there. Thats why they all keep their distance from him. You’ll notice the million follower weather analysts do the same. Once was enough of him just abusing his helper over and over. But posting it without editing that out? I rest my case.
The calmness in your voices is awesome. You show good professional behavior. Your video is great and can and should be used for research. I'm glad I found your site. Thanks guys for not screaming with excitement. I'm recommending your site to everyone. Stay safe and keep up the GREAT work!!!
Picture Perfect! 30:20 and my favorite in a lot of this is the Bright Golden and Green Grass ... red dirt road and just the Epic Darkness and funnel! THAT is the DREAM!
@@JimmySchwieterttake your pick, most of them are unwatchable, between the crappy iphone video and the screams and shrills of VIOLENT TORNADO its almost comical if those guys were not risking the lives of the general public with their antics.
@@brettrobinson2901 They will make more mobile homes and tornadoes will continue to find them. It’s like a never-ending game of hide and seek, but the seeker can use 100+ mph winds to tear through walls that resemble cardboard. P.S. Anyone excited for “Twisters”?
What a confused tornado, multiple vortex tornado merry-go-round, the ultimate dance of the winds! You got it all, strong and stable, dancing and flirty!
Simon and Justin I used to watch you on the weather channel! I remember when you escaped the El Reno tornado! And fled the Joplin tornado! It was coming at you at a rare 60 mph!
Was these guys in tornado heaven or what!! Mesmerizing and beautiful stove top tornado. Loved this video! Glad you know to be safe, not crazy!!! Thankyou!!! I sure hope this didn’t hit anyone or thing!
@@charleneguye2258 Cars kill tons of people every day. Yet you don’t see car enthusiasts celebrating that. So tired of hearing that immature, ridiculous argument. Go touch some grass, Charlene.
I love the adventure tornado season brings and there's zero effort on my part besides existing in my current area of residence. I love that it distracts me from my problems and makes me focus on other people in a way that's different from politics and other stupid stuff like that. That sense of real danger just whips my primate brain into shape
The storm chasers are not rejoicing that people and property are harmed. Nature is an awesome thing. They are chasing to learn in order to study and better prepare people to protect themselves. I went through a tornado tonight. My towns sirens didn't work. What saved me was my NOOA radio. @@charleneguye2258
And this was only yesterday? You must've been up all night editing! Well, thanks for posting. We don't hardly see anything like that up here in the Northeast. That there was some real mean skies, I would've been shivering in my boots! Stay safe, and happy trails! /:-)
Right at about 29:26-29:30 when it appears out of nowhere, that is truly astounding. Looks very eerie and calm, and then, it's just there. And it doesn't grow in size, it's just there, in its biggest form. The only other footage from 2024 that I've seen so far that I can compare to this is the tornado in Iowa that destroyed all the wind turbines. Awesome and awfully terrifying. Very very good shot!
Guys..so refreshing to see y’all again Really enjoy your style of storm chasing Watched y’all way back when you were associated with twc… Glad to see y’all are still chasing… You got pretty close to my hometown of San Angelo tx this year!
Dude this was so badass. It almost reminded me of a symbiote while it was trying to form around 20-21 minutes. It was like Venom or Carnage infected that storm cloud and took control of it to form a devastating tornado. This is one of the best tornado videos I've ever seen.
I am so thankful to live where I live , yeah it can get cold up here but I’ll put up with the cold any day before I choose to live in constant fear of being blown up by a tornado, at least in the cold with all the snow you can have fun in the mountains
You should get a PVS-14 White Phosphor Night Vision you can see tornados miles away at night and it can attach to any camera. It's not cheap but it will get you some great night shots of tornados no one else is putting out there right now.
It’s like being in an excited trance, watching them…the contrast of the whiter clouds overhanging (there’s a scientific term for ya) over the darker scariness…
Wow, okay... you have a new subscriber. I live in Eldorado and my daughter lives in Olustee. Needless to say, we were watching the radar and a few storm chasers that I knew were Live Streaming. My daughter had to spend almost an hour in her underground shelter. Thankfully this turned north before hitting Olustee. So people that AREN'T from around here understand... this tornado has been dubbed the "Duke" tornado, but it was never actually IN Duke, OK. It was most-filmed on a road that goes TO Duke. But honestly, it was kind of in the "middle of nowhere, OK" - in between Duke, Eldorado, and Olustee, so nobody around here cares what it's "named", LOL! With all that said, you guys did a phenominal job here. You were calm, professional, no screaming, no "whooptie-whoop", and you **respected** the storm. You didn't try to core-punch or show the world what brave men you are... instead, you showed us a beautiful tornado that thankfully only did a small amount of damage and injured no one. I really appreciate your style, and hope to see a lot more from you both - you make a great team! Thank you so much for this upload! Stay safe!
You have the patience of a saint with your ability to drive and not purposely run oover those jerks hanging out in the middle of a 1.5 lane dirt road!! I love the tornadoes and the chase...but the idiots need a new hobby!😊
Were those power flashes in the center of picture around 13:27? I’m watching on a 55” screen and the white flashes are kinda small but definitely there.
It'd be cool if you could include a compass heading on your video so we could see the direction of travel and/or that of the tornado. Great footage. Stay safe.
aaah !!! I used to live in Elk City Oklahoma and tornadoes aren't even the main reason I had to get out. "Sooner" state ??? The sooner you leave the better.
The development around 29:35 was incredibly fast. With you guys being meteorologists... Do these tornadoes always travel in a north east direction? Ever move south west?
I am 62. Grew up in and around Altus, was a teenager with a pickup in the 70's. I did a mental count when I turned 21 and realized, over the course of my life, I had seen ..21..tornadoes on the ground. There were no "chasers" back then, other than us. In about 77? 78? me and my buddy were sitting around my house trying to watch Star Trek re runs in the afternoon. Problem was, Gary England and his weather brethren kept busting on about a tornado sw of Hollis or Duke heading E/NE. They did not have any "chasers" or choppers. Just radar. So, we go jump in my truck (as we usually did, it was literally the greatest show on earh) and head west on 62. Saw the first, perfect white tornado on the ground about 15 miles out of Altus. The whole complex was laid out in front of us plain as the day. All we had to do was, head toward the storm, which was moving sw/ne...as most of them do. Hang a left when we got too close. Hang another left and head east. Rinse and repeat all afternoon. If we had a video camera, it would have taped tornadoes for 5 consecutive hours. Ended up following 8 separate tornadoes that day. Including one set of twins for about 20 miles north of Altus. One that moves some C-5's around on the base. Buddy spotted what he thought might be just a salt lick out in a field while we are chasing "the twins". I jump out and pick it up. It was not a salt lick it was hail. Lasted in my freezer for a couple of months before my mom threw it out for taking up too much room. TL:DR: If you hear any report of instability west of Hollis in May, and you want to see some tornadoes. Just point your truck west and drive.
Excellent call with pro weather knowledge being communicated to non-pros like "mua" without "the sky is falling yelling". Your video shows "dead man walking legs" like Jerrell Texas F?.
