NC State left no doubts against No. 16 Duke from start to finish to down the Blue Devils at home 84-60. The Pack got off to a perfect start on the defensive end, as Duke’s first basket didn’t come until the 12:20 mark of the first half. NC State forced 21 Duke turnovers and blocked 9 shots. Terquavion Smith’s 24 points led all scorers, while Jarkel Joiner had 21 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals in the win. DJ Burns had a big game, with 18 points and 4 blocks off the bench. Kyle Filipowski had 14 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for Duke.
