The Duco was funny because we have all been there but the important part was the fellow with the Skipjack and how you treated him. I understand that "fame" can be tiring and some folks don't respect boundaries but the fans are the point. Some "famous" folks seem very uncomfortable with that.
That sounds like my every day life. My wife’s car broke so she had to drive my truck to work so I couldn’t go fishing. Get her car fixed and my truck blows a head gasket. Her car broke again so we had to get her a new to her car. And still haven’t got my truck fixed so I still can’t go fishing. Glad you got your motor cleared out. I enjoy your videos.

Most of my cat fishing was and is done in the Rio Grande in west Texas. That Dulcolax will get you everytime. Really enjoyed your video so I subbed. Wish you the best.

I figured you were up past Dandridge over across I-81. I know where Rankin Bridge is. There is a creek about a half-mile or so upriver that has big brown trout in it. I'm talking 5 pounds. That was 30 years ago and on private property. I'm pretty sure no one in the family owns it now. I wonder if it still has trout. I've been there when you couldn't get a boat in where you are. In the winter there is white water there. Newport always had a bad reputation just like Union County. Shout out to Tate, was it? Big shout out to all of you folks there from an old Knoxville boy.
Dave… put a 5 gallon bucket and a garbage bag on the boat at all times !!! I worked on the railroad for years luckily we always had the woods out there when this stuff would happen. I’ve prolly taking more shits in the woods then I have my own bathroom
Hey catfish Dave I fished Douglas since 2007 I ve always caught some big channels and one blue right in the turn on right hand side of lake before swans bridge before the islands . Was usually fishing for Bass when they would show up . mite give it a try if out and about .. Love the channel and keep em coming ..

You've inspired a lot of fishermen like your supporter donating bait. Appreciate your French Broad tryout since we are shoulder to shoulder with fun kayakers around Asheville. I may just have to get a Tennessee license for peace and quiet on the lower French Broad. As an older man with complicated digestive issues my advice try psyllium husk (Daily Fiber from Walmart). A less explosive solution.

That's alright Dave, last year I was in my kayak on a small lake full of people out on their lawns. Had to pee BAD. Couldn't pull out the pee bottle and not be spotted instantly. So I started paddling my ass off to get to shore. That's when I realized 52 year old bladders aren't your friend anymore. Boat launch was jammed full of people and here I come up and get rushed by other anglers wanting to know how I did. One guy talked to me for ten minutes before he realized my predicament. That's how I pissed my pants in my kayak and lived to tell about it.

Did you put in at Walter's Bridge and go toward Newport to Rankin? Thought about trying v the French Btoad. But heard the stories of Douglas/French Broad doesn't produce catfish
I put in at Rankin. In my boat it would be about a 20 minute run from Walters. If I was seriously gonna fish that lake for big fish I would fish the area between Walters and Leadville

Catfish dave make me think of a psychopath, who could have went full axe murderer. But instead decided to focus on two things that didnt neccesarily make him feel, but he somehow still enjoyed, fishing and playing guitar. But I could still see him snapping later, and doing the whole axe murder bit, Or... maybe I'm wrong and he's already at it. Either way I enjoy his videos!

If boats got your goat, as you might say, jet ski's are even worse. They are worse than all the DANG BLASTED things that plague you times 5. I'm primarily salt water fisherman, so maybe that makes a difference.
