Great question! The way this pack is designed, just a waterbottle will fit in those side pockets. If you need some extra space to accommodate a nesting cup, we would be more than happy to make a custom bag with bigger pockets to fit the nesting cup and waterbottle. I really wish there was somewhere I could try out one of these packs. I love the way they look and the materials used but I need to know how comfortable something is if I'm going to be shelling out 200+ dollars for something.

I have one in waxed canvas. I use it for day hiking, and it works well for me. The shoulder straps allow one to carry quite a bit of weight comfortably. If you need a bit more gear you can wear a short back pack over this. I have also used my smaller Duluth waist pack as a belly pack with this to keep smaller items up front and handy.

I have called customer service and I keep getting the run around about making a custom pack to host the nesting cup. I'm a fan of anything that the pathfinder school endorses, seams a shame no one will get back with mo
