Very tranquil walk up that way - beautiful spot. I’ve done Llyn Eigiau last year in Jan but wanted to do the bothy for a while now I know the way cheers Trev. Sure we’ll Meet up at some point. Enjoyed watching thanks for taking us along.

Great area. There’s a big 12 mile route called the Eigiau Horseshoe which is a fantastic route, done it both ways. Camped near the Dulyn Bothy once, chatted to some nice people in there then left them to it at night. Popped in, in the morning and a gang of rowdy guys had turned up in the early hours, got pissed and had quite a serious fight amongst themselves! The lads we met were quite shaken by it. Sadly the bothy suffers from being relatively close to the road. Also had a good night at the Foel Grach Shelter but camping outside and using it for refreshments. Sae it totally buried in snow a few years ago. Nice video Trev, good to see you back in the park. Did you spot the propeller sticking out of Llyn Dulyn? It looked like the water was too high but if you dont know the story of the crashed American plane, have a look on tinternet👍

Really enjoyed this outing Trev. The new route in was refreshing and the ponies as wild as the mountain. I'm like you I just get mesmerized by the still day and the peace of it all - like at the bothy. Hey I think you experienced a mirage mate on that mountain. No glasses needed. I agree with the shelter analogy all things are relative - a bit of luxury when the weathers bad. Really good Trev - great views to. All the best. Mark
