Dumaguete, the city of gentle people, has always been a favorite destination for tourists especially those coming from the Visayas region. For us coming from the north (Manila), a visit entails a whole lot of planning and preparation. Of course the Manjuyod Sandbar is a must with an expansive area for water activities and to chill. However, through the help of the City Tourism Office and our seasoned guide/driver Benji we were amazed at the many other attractions this side of Negros Oriental has to offer.
