Have you built the kit? One month from start to finish is a stretch to stay the least. I just built the dumas jersey city and from start to "finish" as per the plans took almost 2 1/2 months. To get to a "finished" model that you can be proud of has taken almost 6 months. Dumas doesn't make the finest of kits and it really takes some working with to get it right. I have been buildings ale models for most of my 55 years and this was a great kit but took some work.
Yes, very cool. I heard of Dumas kits, but this was the 1st time I saw inside the box. That very much reminds me of the balsa and tissue paper airplane models I failed at miserably at as a younger fellow. My Dad was a wiz at these type of craftsman's kits, but I just don't have the patience (or pockets) for them. :)
1/20 scale is "F scale" in model railroad terms not "G scale," which is 1/22.5 scale. There is a lot of confusion between these scales because the trains in these separate scales run on the same size track.
