These are college students. My six year old grandson knows the correct answers to all of these questions. Unbelievable.

As so many people think there are 25 minutes in a quarter of an hour, a good follow up question would be: how many minutes in an hour.

Suggestion: Have a greater pool of questions. These are the people who'll be complaining about their student loan debt and low salary. Faculty isn't failing to teach; they're failing to learn. So, don't blame the college or the K-12 education that preceded. These videos are a good 'heads up' to hiring managers who could/should ask these basic knowledge questions at the interview. Keep it up.

Back in my day if you couldn't answer these questions correctly they wouldn't let you into high school. They would make you repeat all 8 years of grade school -- just kidding. They would make you repeat 3rd grade until you got it right. The number of feet in a yard depends on the number of people at the party and how many of them are in the house at the time of the question -- duh!!!!

This is unfairly portraying college students as idiots! Ask relevant questions to their experience and you will be amazed at their intelligence. Ask them where the best drink specials are on Thursday night. Ask them how to hook up without spending any money. Ask them how many supporters of their view are required to shout down the view of their opposition. Instead of pressing them with real questions backed by proven facts, they need to be presented bizarro world inquiries that they can manipulate. College kids aren't stupid. They're just uninformed and disjointed with how the rest of society has operated for centuries.

First of all USA does NOT have an official language, second of all every migrant will speak at least at home their own language from where ever they came from. So if the question is based on ignorance assuming "official" language in US is English, then yes, they speak English. But since Spanish is the second most spoken language in the US it ain't wrong either.
