@@kevinmalone3210 All vices that destroy people like gambling, tobacco and alcohol should be eradicated. However, the government makes a lot of money off of theses vices, so they never will be. And then people are dumb enough to believe that the government has their best interest at heart. 🙄🙄😆😆
Gambling is spreading. Here in VA we now have casinos in gas stations! (or at least slot machines) never was like that before. Government is getting desperate for money. (gambling and weed legalization - which the 2nd should never have been in the first place)
@@someoneout-there2165 - It's not that they're desperate - they'll just print more. It's that the mob has infiltrated the government - right to the very top.
No one forced them to go inside, barring addiction or mental health problems people go broke in casino because of stupidity, lack of control, and greed.
I noticed alot of the dealers wouldn't even look at the players after they walked off as losers. I never gave it any thought. Makes a lot of sense now.
I def wouldn't call Phil Ivey the dumbest, those casinos said it was ok for him to play those rules, he asked, they said yes, and of course he took them to the cleaners, then they whined about him cheating even though he didn't cheat.
Me and many as well as yourself have made mistakes. Do what you need to do to get back up again in life and stay strong with the wisdom of it all. As long as you exist there is purpose for your life. Be encouraged. Live long and prosper.
I just lost $1700 in about 4 hrs playing slots...I won $600 the previous day so I decided to test my luck the next and told myself the most I will spend Is $70... didn't quite work out like that.😥
The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be. To invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government, especially with the current especially with the current economic crises around the world.
Working with Romero pieto is the best thing that can happen to a beginner trader who is aspiring to be fruitful out of the market he is trustworthy and straightforward we surely need more men like him in trading world.
Never thought trading was a thing one can profit from . Working with Romero pieto have really cleared me and changed my mind set he is consistent when it comes to profit making so happy I'm part of his top earning platform.
I won around 350 dollars first time in Atlantic city,New Jersey. The next time I lost around 350 dollars in Atlantic city,New Jersey. Net loss/win = around $0. Spent rest of day sight seeing and having food after that 350 dollars was lost second time.
The story about Archie Karas is incorrect. He won his $40,000,000 in the late 80's playing no limit craps at the Horseshoe. It is true he won a nice score playing Razz but it wasn't in Vegas, it was at the Commerce Casino in LA then came to Vegas where he met an Unnamed connected wiseguy who together went to the Horseshoe. Jack Binion casino was on the verge of bankruptcy as a result. Archie then placed in several strip casinos 5 million each where he lost most of his winnings as well as losing over 1 million to various Pool players over the course of a year. He did manage to buy his mother a beautiful home in Greece as well as having a 90k Mercedes which he was still driving in the late 90s. His Hold'em poker abilities was not the same as his Razz expertise. He lost millions playing Hold'em as well as losing at Baccarat.
1) do not bring atm cards 2) do not bring pawnable items 3) gamble alone 4) start at 12 midnight so if you lose then its time to go home 5) play with small bets - to prolong the action 6) do not be greedy
And play slow- I bet 40 cents and won over $200 on the sun and moon machine. When I play slow, not press Spin instantly I find the odd is better that way.
The idea is scratch the itch while minimizing your losses. But if you are the type that wants to win big or go home then im sorry but you are bound to lose to the casino.
Casino's are a ripoff. I just went to the wild game on Saturday spent $22 on a burger and pop. $25 for parking $24 for a double shot of wild turkey. After went to the casino and won $200. Such a ripoff
And the evidence is all around them: Palaces more luxurious than the wealthiest pharaohs and emperors of antiquity, all financed by suckers--er... I mean---gamblers.
I had no idea Gladys Knight had a gambling problem. With all the online casinos and betting sites I hope people are exercising caution and self control.
But it can be beaten. I know because I do it for a living. But you have to take the game off the layout. And put it in your own playground. Where you KNOW you have an edge. And it must turn a profit with FLAT BETS. Like my strategy does. If it depends on progressive bets like a martingale. You really have NOTHING. It must turn a profit with flat bets. You grind out the profit on RED AND BLACK nothing else. And it can be done. Gamblers who are greedy are DOOMED period. You must have PATIENCE DISCIPLINE SOUND MONEY MANAGEMENT. And of course an even money strategy that can grind out a profit with FLAT BETS. Nothing else will win LONGTERM. And by longterm I don't mean a month or even a year. I mean DECADES. This has been my living for over 8 years.
My father used to regularly see "Sir" Charles Barkley on his flights to Vegas from Phoenix on Southwest in the early and mid 90s when he had to commute there for work. Flights on Southwest were dirt cheap... like $29 roundtrip to Vegas, since Phoenix was a hub city. Dad got to sit next to Charles Barkley quite a few times too. They'd chat the whole flight, especially because my dad became a friendly face to him. They'd talk Vegas rather than the Suns. Who needs to talk basketball?
The most prudent thing for everyone to do right now is to invest in other sources of income that do not rely on the government. Especially in light of the present global economic crisis. This is still an excellent opportunity to invest in stocks and digital currencies
My life story is making 30k a year but losing 15k a year to gambling. Late 2000s gambled thousands on a game I couldn't win, mailorder bride from Ukraine. Then in 2010s I played a game I could win but made poor choices, casino gambling. You can win but you have to leave, if you don't, you just lose!
If you want to get rich, focus on creating value to the market, then the money itself will flow in, Value itself is the symbol of money you are making, a fellow creator ~~~----
Im sure Charles Barkley is fine. Some people can actually afford an expensive gambling habit. He has lost 30 million but is still a millionaire several times over. He just signed a lucrative extension with Turner Sports.
Kerry Packer once put a loud mouthed Texan in his place who was big noting himself. Packer asked him how much he was was worth. When the Texan replied $x,xxx, xxx dollars, Packer replied "I'll toss you for it", which means 'let's flip a coin for it'. Also, 3 of those gamblers are Greek. With only around 25 million Greeks in thw world that's a pretty high percentage.
People loose $13 millions? In actuality- they loose close to $17-$20 millions. To make $13 mil, you have to make close to $20 mil, because the taxes take about $5-7 millions.
Gambling is not Gambling. If you know anything about probability and statistics, or more specifically the law of large numbers, you should know that there is no way you are going to beat the house. To simplify, lets put it this way, say you toss a coin 10 times, then its possible that all of them will turn out to be heads. But try tossing it 1000 times. Then you would more than likely to get 498 heads, and 502 tails. Closer to the expected probability. Now No Casino game will ever favor the player. Which means the more times you bet, the more times you lose. Plain and simple.
That's generally true, unless you can become a skilled card counter playing blackjack, or get skilled enough playing poker, you can win, but it'll take some work though.
@@earldriskill3505 Yes you can! You just got to have exceptional talent in math, and if Casinos find out that you are too good at what you do, they will ban you
If someone gambles away 2% or so if their net worth/gross salary in a year, that to me is a hobby. A lot of hobbies cost more, and yes some cost less...
As a gambler goes the casino consider me a dead fish. In a night of gambling (3 hours) I might drop $80 playing Pai Gow. But I usually pretty much break even, I do it for fun. And as a side note I can do ok is because I do not make any side bets. My last trip to Vegas, I won 80.
That can happen !!! Even billionaires , it’s rare. But gambling an addiction. Why they don’t make riches to rags stories I will never know. These homeless people , have stories. They had an upbringing, parents, jobs, careers, yes even great success, not to mention alcohol, drugs , loss of jobs, divorce, mental illness , self esteem which could lead to an illness. This is not the mythical “ lazy bum syndrome” there is a story and reason. Nobody’s that lazy they won’t work, unless loss of hope and low self esteem.
This is BS, Ivey is the smartest if you want to call it gambling. He makes sure he ALWAYS has an edge, obviously that's why the casinos are suing him for 40 million, because he figured a sure way to win again the casino. Casino knew what he was doing but still invited him to their casino, but surprised his plan worked
ALL YOU DIMB HEADS WHO LOVED GAMBLING......YOU WILL NEVER WIN ❗️❗️❗️❗️ THE REAL WINNER.....WILL ALWAYS BE.....THE CASINO ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️ WAKE UP.....IF YOU SO FIX ON GAMBLING.....GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THE HOMELESS ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️ AT LEAST......YOU WILL HAVE PEOPLE WHO WILL LOVED YOU WHEN YOU LOSE ❗️❗️❗️
Why is Phil Ivey's name here? He had to pay back what he won. Never lost anything so when you make a video please check facts!! And I believe Borgata paid Ivey but he lost another case in the UK. Get your facts straight.
My biggest loss was $80 on a slot machine at a bar. I triggered the bonus game, rolled 7 immediately and won ZERO credits. I stormed out of the bar and never gambled since.
