Brown ur rice with olive oil before putting in crockpot will keep it from sticking and getting mushy also I preferred to use jasmine white rice makes it more fluffy
I’m 5 months pregnant and my husband is currently deployed. I rely on these crockpot meals so much now. It’s so helpful to just set the crockpot and come home to dinner. I’ve made almost all of your recipes and they’re always delicious. Thank you for the great videos👍🏼😊
Love these simple ideas for meals ... being a nurse and working 3 ~~ 12 hr shifts or longer this will help me out a lot .... post more if you can ..... thanks a bunch from Boiling Springs NC
Wow, spaghetti in the crock pot. Gotta try that. Also those funeral potatoes with sausage. I never make my grocery list until I watch you. You make the tastiest meals!!
Those all look so good! My favorite dump and go' meals are chili, soups, chicken tacos, plus my kids love chicken breasts cooked with Olive Garden dressing. Or chicken Alfredo with a few chicken breasts, a stick of butter, 1 cup sour cream, and 1 block of cream cheese. Add some garlic powder or whatever you want and have it on noodles with broccoli. I got that one years ago from Jammerrill Stewart and my kids love it.
I love you how always upload as I’m doing my grocery list!! Gives me some new ideas for the week 😁 also the screenshots of the recipes are really helpful!
It all looks great. I added the hash brown potatoes and going to add ham to it since I have it in the freezer. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful meals. We really enjoy them.
One of our favorite dump and go meals is as follows: throw some chicken thighs into a crock pot with a little (or a lot) of seasoning, a can of cream of celery, a whole onion (sliced), and 1 stick of butter. Let it go on high for 4-5 hours and it’s so good! We eat ours over rice.
I do something similar with pork. Either pork loin, roast or boneless chops, can of cream of celery, pork gravy pack, water the pack calls for, chopped onion, seasonings (no salt) serve on rice or mashed potatoes
THANK YOU!!! I have never been much of a cook but I am finally really trying to learn. These recipes look so easy and yummy! Exactly what I'm needing to get started!
Kelly, from one single mom to another, I adore you!❤Much love! You are inspiring and I'm so glad I have found your channel! I can't wait to try the slow cooker spaghetti!
I looked up this video this morning to find the recipe for your funeral potatoes, but actually ended up making the chicken/potatoes/green beans with Cavender seasoning recipe! It just looked sooo good and I happened to have chicken breast thawing in my fridge. Why not? :) It turned out SOOO good, my kids ate it just now for dinner and actually ate everything on their plate (winning!) I wanted to tag you on Insta but not sure if you wanted me to do that! LOL.... I love all your recipes, I am back on track for the funeral potatoes tomorrow! haha! Keep up the crock pot recipes, they are big hits here! Thank you!
Hey Kelly, I’m a new subscriber! I found your channel while looking for crock pot dump and go recipes. I just got a crock pot and like you, I HATE to cook lol. We eat takeout a lot and needed a change. I just wanted to say I appreciate your videos and you’re a very inspiring young lady, and you have beautiful children! Thank you for all you do! ❤️
Kelly, I’m so loving your dump and go crockpot meals! I was actually going to get rid of my trusty crockpot (in favor of my Instant Pot) but not anymore. Thank you for featuring these meals and inspiration! ❤️
They all looked delicious! I will be sure to try. I fry the sausage with cubed potatoes and onions on top of the stove. They are delicious. If you want to try this one, use the oil of your choice salt pepper to your taste when you put the potatoes in. Let potatoes get about half done then add sausage. Last couple of minutes add the onions. It is delicious!
First of your videos I have watched, and I tried the Funeral Potaotes (7:55) for the guys tonight (I'm a veg-head, so I did not eat, but always looking for good meals for them). I made a double batch in my Instant Pot on slow cooker setting, and it went down like a charm! Not too many left overs left for the "Left Over Night" and another easy recipe to go into the rotation. Thank you!
Good morning friend. Happy Sunday!! Always love seeing these videos. I get the best ideas. Have an amazing week.i just realized that your almost at 100k. Yayy Kelly!! You deserve it girl!!
Thanks for the grsat recipes! I've been a little leary about cooking pasta in the crock pot, but I definitely will give it a shot now. You're right about overcooking the rice. I have a problem cooking it too long in the crockpot. I sometimes forget that it doesn't take long to become mush! Thanks again for sharing! Be well 😍😍😍
Thank you so much for sharing! I'm about to start working at night and this is simple enough to teach my daughter to help cook. I am excited about the potatoes with sausage! I have always wanted to get those frozen potatoes and cook them somehow. Screaming hey girl hey from middle Georgia!
These all look yummy!! Just a thought, when I do rice in the crock pot I measure the wet ingredients as part of the liquid for the rice. Like use the tomato’s then add water to equal your required amount. Just a thought. All your recipes look great. I never knew you could do speg in the crock pot like that! LovefromFL
My favorite right now is the chicken and gravy that I got from When With Jenn's channel. It is AMAZING! LOL. I also like a lot of your recipes - faves are Mississippi Pot Roast and Chicken and dumplings - but having said that we have enjoyed all of them so far that I have tried from your CP videos. Loving your channel and I don't even have babies at home anymore! :)
I'm gonna be tryin all of these recipes!! The last one... the funeral potatoes & sausage looks amazing!! I've never had it so def thinkin bout givin that a go very soon! Tfs! I love these videos!!
I'm a trying the funeral potatoes tonight! Can I make a suggestion, for these videos could you add in the description the time stamps for the recipes. That way when I go back to rewatch a specific recipe, I know right when to start. Thanks!! ❤
Hey Kelly I'm not sure if you remember me from school or not...I just wanted you to know that I came across your channel a week or so ago. Your videos and motivation has helped me get through a really hard time in my life, and helped me get my life back on track I appreciate you so much. I subscribed! Thank you so much. ❤🦋
@@KellysKorner08 yes I'm sure lol we had 8th grade together and i have curly red hair.. If that helps. You are so welcome! I have been catching up like every day. You will be seeing me on here more. I enjoy your videos, your motivation to get things done and stay focused is awesome and so encouraging for a fellow single mom. 🙏❤
I do the chicken & green beans ; but I use frozen beans. I also add 1 can of chicken broth and the Ranch seasoning; garlic powder & salt n pepper. I think I will add potatoes next time. Thanks for sharing.
I’m Canadian , and growing up we would often have white rice, tomato , and sausage al mixed as one dish. I’ve never seen anyone else make something similar!
Everything looks so yummy especially that last dish. I enjoy watching you cook so much better than when I do it myself lol Can't wait to see what you have in store for dessert!
My family absolutely loves chicken, green beans, and potatoes! It's one of our favorite crockpot meals. And my family hates green beans lol. So this definitely wins because they actually love them in this meal 😂
Quick question. Have you tried using the cheddar cheese soup in the potatoes and sausage one? If so how did it taste? By the way thank you for posting your recipes. I am trying the chicken gnocchi soup one for dinner tonight.
If using rice in the crockpot you should never use minute/instant rice or par cooked rice. Also, rinsing your rice under cold water will remove excess starch which will keep your rice from sticking or clumping. Hope this helps!! Your recipes look yummy. I'm gonna be trying that spaghetti!!
Thanks for these great ideas! You motivated me to cook today! :) Do you have a link to one of your videos for a frugal savory dish that would feed a group of 20 adults? Need for a small home group meeting.TY.
Check out this chicken pot pie I made in my last "what's for dinner" Its, cream of celery or chicken, whichever you prefer. Cooked chicken, mixed veggies, I also like to add sour cream (maybe half a cup) and salt and pepper to taste. Because you would need to make a larger quantity of this I would recommend a 9x13 casserole dish instead of the pie dish. I would omit the pie crust and just pour the mixture into the casserole dish and top with ritz crackers. Hope this helps! Beef sherry! Stew meat Large can of cream of chicken Lipton onion soup mix packet Eyeball in some cooking Sherry (half a bottle) Cook on low for 8 hours and serve over rice or noodles or potatoes or bread.
I can't screenshot because I cast to TV. I also can't hold a pen any longer and have to voice type 100% of the time. I've been making Crock-Pot spaghetti for decades and I remember the tomato rice which I would like to make soon. I'm going to have to try and remember the others and thank you so much for sharing! :-)
