Thanks Greg for the most thorough overview of dump trailers that I’ve seen. You hit all of the main points, and some that many folks don’t even know about. I’m grateful that your dealership is within moderate driving distance from where I live. To me, the dealership makes all the difference when buying jobsite equipment. The time you took & the topics you covered just added you to the list of dealerships that I’ll be visiting when i buy my next trailer.
Thank you guys for pointing out, about the low battery and fluid will leek out. This happened to me to times. Thanks again for all the walk around and showing how to maintain the battery and all the grease fittings.
the video helped me thanks! I was wondering why my fluid overfilled my box when i dropped the bed with gravity. Sure pissed me off, now its full of fluid and a mess. I want to unhook everything now and clean it out properly. I know now to never do that again! I thought something went wrong with my system. My brothers trailer only gravity drops, I assumed it wouldnt be a problem. GRRR they should have a warning sign for this. such a piss off
If your loosing fluid, these trailers can come slamming down on top of a person or thing like a fly swatter, from what I'm told! it seems like hydraulics could have a some check type valve to prevent this? Having come from oilfield industry, it never occured to me until having to get under one for repairs.
