Don't leave those old bowling balls behind. They make beautiful yard art. I use waterproof silicone and glue leftover ceramic tile , arranged in whatever design inspires me at the time. I love my orb art made from old discarded bowling balls. ☺️

My sister's would use that wire ring to weave a yucca basket, or weave a plaque. We are Hopi, so a plaque may be a colorful design, or a very expensive Kachina design. A yucca basket could also fetch a good price.

i made a piece for our beagles bed to cover a tear in it YEARS ago, and its still holding strong. actually i think it was the INSIDE cushion and i made a whole new cover for the thing.

Going by the boxes in the dumpster you found the film in, I would say it is laminating film. Put some on both sides of whatever you want laminated and run it between 2 hot bubbler rollers.

Laminating film. You can use an iron and laminate anything you want, like your Social Security Card or a poster. Don’t use it on anything you have only one of as it is not archivally safe and could damage your item. My generation of teachers took classes on lamination.
