The red berries are Pitt Berries. Since they are on long stems that can be wrapped around candles. Holly berries would have the Holly leaves ! Tip :: Put candles in the freezer over night they will pop out easily

We cannot do it everywhere in the US. Illinois has huge fines in our County and many have police that monitor their dumpsters. Even at night or when no one is around, you cannot do it.

🙇🏻‍♀️ I wish I could go dumpster diving. I couldn’t sell the stuff, though. I’d have to donate everything to places like the Red Cross. Those items would really help people get back on their feet.especially if they lost their home to a fire, etc.

When you are dumping out the broken glass shards, we can see all the really fine pieces glinting in the sun as they fall. Please wear safety glass when dealing with glass, it scares us.

The wooden lids you get off of broken candles could be used as coasters. Would have to seal to protect from fluids but would be good for that .

What I find amazing is the store did not go what Steph did and remove the broken glass a try to make a set with what was left. If no set was found then sell the odd glassware per piece. It really does not take that much time to do and it save the waste. I am sure people would buy the singles as replacements for their broken dish. It is just a shame.

Well you found a lot of glasses in that 1rst dumpster Steph. That is a good reason for those types of gloves you are wearing because you don't get cut with broken glass. bought me another pair of them just to have on hand.

Did these types of things in my life and feel good about always reducing & reusing & giving things to others.Makes me happy to watch these cuz it is insane the amounts & types of things that r just thrown out on a daily basis.Having 9 grandkids makes me feel terrible that the world is so messed up & POLLUTED. And this is their inheritance.

I love glasses and glassware. I have some glasses or tumblers from back in the 1970s that have peace, brotherhood, and freedom designs on them. Out of the four glasses that I had, I have two left.

Such a shame... Company's could put out that stuff 50%-70% off, so much waste... Why spend money on a dumpster just make a stack of items outside/inside stores doors and put a sign saying "Free We're going to throw it out anyways"
