Dumpster Diving Episode 18: "New Year's Eve Dive" 

Baking soda will do the trick 1. Create a paste of hot water and baking soda. 2.Cover spray paint with your paste. 3. Leave around 15 mins. 4.The paint should now peel off. 5. Repeat above steps if needed. Good Luck DD xx

A product called Goo off. Will take off paint glue stickers. It's in an orange spray bottle . Spray, let sit 5minutes wipe off. Great video!

If you are at all crafty take this hint... Frames are easy to fix but also, frames are great to add detail to furniture sides. Turn a hall table into a couch/hall table with frames. Also, if you have any silicon molds, use anything from homemade paper clay to quickcrete to make things to decorate the frames. Once decorated, they will sell at yard and garage sales even without glass. I use plaster of paris to do antique frame repair. Using silicone to make a mold off of an area that still has the design, you can make a mold that can be used not only on the original frame but on new frames to make them look old. Those same molds can be used on wooden shelf brackets, as deco on book ends and much more.

That curve spray bottle that didn't have a nozzle was so easy to fix and worth 15$ at least. The pink box juicy box was with at least 30$. Shhheewww I would love to go dumpster diving with you just 1 day. Lol. U leave so much good girlie stuff. It drives me crazy. Lol!! Happy diving

You should get stuff in the car as soon as you can. If they come out you will already have it in the car. Great haul!

You should take "any" thick blankets, spray them with Krud Kutter, or even some oven cleaner, then wash with Oxi Clean and put Dawn on the paint. You will be surprised, your wife might want it, or your kids, if not give it to an animal shelter, or a homeless shelter. Once they know you tried to clean it, a homeless person will enjoy it in keeping warm.

You can also take blankets to a cleaner and they can get them cleaned. Those are spendy blankets

At our Kirklands they just throw the lampshades in the dumpsters in. No dents, no paint. I found so many lamps and shades. Yahoo. I let other divers join in, too.

That table leg is either a pepper or salt grinder 😂

Hey Double D. Really enjoy your videos. It's nice that you go to more than one dumpster! Also, when you find candles, put them in the freezer, turn over and bopp it, and the candle will slide right out of that glass. Then you can chop them up, put them in baggies, label them, then sell for five bucks a baggie! (1/4 of a 3-wick candle/bag) Keep doing what you're doing. I never find as much as you do, but there are times when I just can't lift things, since I'm by myself. Looking forward to your next video!

Love your videos! Always finds alot of cool stuff. Only thing that drives me crazy on these early videos is how you stack everything you find on the outside of the dumpster. It probably didn't take a few managers coming out and telling you to put it all back in before you started putting the goods you find right in your vehicle.

Man ! I would take that weighted blanket. Those things are expensive.

Spray the garlands with white paint over the red. Our BB&B closed, nothing from them. One of the towns I go to it just recently, very recently, started getting more dumster divers.

If you will find some tarp straps or bungee cord you could keep those lids open when it is windy.

you could use all those frames as decorative trim for an inexpensive indoor project, when you want to change the look of a room, so don't discard all those frames that might be apart or split .You can use wood filler to fix it, and a nail gun put it back together. If you want to make a couple extra bucks ,then it in a set don't pass it up.

Homeless would love the blankets painted or not.

I would have loved to have found all those candles.. That's my most searched for thing when i dumpster dive. I melt them into wax melts and give to local nursing homes to elderly that don't have family during the Holidays. Those ladies love when i come in with gifts. Keep the videos coming.. much luv! Love those lanterns and the work you do on them! You might consider putting a candle warmer inside of one and see how it does, they are really popular right now!

I don't know if you know about Krud Kutter for taking out paint on fabric. Also awesome spray cleaner from dollar tree works good also with Krud Kutter. Rubbing alcohol takes sharpe of plastic, glass.
