Just a thought as a woman who has been keeping house for years-take the lids to pans, pots and dishes to sell as replacements and sometimes people will buy the crock part of crock pots to replace scorched or broken ones :)

Those large paper desk calendars are great coloring paper (on the back) for kids.

Good finds today. To bad the garbage truck showed up on that one. You should have taken the glass lids. People can buy them to replace ones that get broken. We needed a lid for our crockpot. Had no luck anywhere. Finally found one at a hardware store. Take care.

Great haul Double D! I found a bunch of those planners a while back too!

My husband can’t tolerate caffeine(didn’t believe until I saw first hand the side effects!) but loves espresso. He can have like one or two decaf espresso a week without his vertigo/dizzy spells start to creep in. So it may not seem like it makes sense but some people do want it!

Hey DD, people who make junk journals love any kind of paper. So the old calendars are great for them. Even old cards, newspaper, wrapping paper, new or used, they like. Bits and bobs. If you haven't seen a junk journal before look them up on RU-vid. This way you will see the types of items they use. Great scores today!🙃

Nuts do go stale Double D but it takes about 3 or 4 months. It isn't the nut as much as the oil it produces. If I have had some awhile then I taste them to see if they are stale cause the oil taste rancid.

You could definitely donate ANY paper to schools, daycares, shelters....no reason for it to be in the landfills!!! Even if you just laid them out by the side of the dumpster so someone else could take the time to donate them!!

Indeed all kinds of things the calendars can be used for. For sure helping teaches and beautiful prints. This might be a bad year but look up the value of stuff saved from major events. Might want holding on to a few. I didn’t know you can do RU-vid annual? I’m big into craft ideas and came across a vid this girl did and was few years old. 8.3 million hits. So she put out another one 3 weeks ago & got 3.2 million already. Just surprised over that . She Like you great sense of humor and just makes you feel better. All the fabric samples Hollie scores sell real well. Thanks for sharing as love watching your videos.

I used to take old planners found to nursing homes to use for projects and scrapbooking but now with the cruel Rona running the show it's sad we can't even do that anymore. Nice finds DD love watching you.

Every five years the planners are good if it's dated for 2020

My biggest score found at joanns was 99 patterns at one time! Sold them to a lady in Florida for $100! She even paid for shipping! 😁

Nice score on the football display case! I've been hoping to find one but haven't yet. My daughter has an autographed football from a few of the players on the Packers. (Poor kid is a Packer fan - LOL!)

LOVE you Double D! How do I purchase the merchandise you find? I DESPERATELY need a desk chair. I have hip problems and can't stand without my walker. I have a chair I get around with now to do my housework but it's at the end of it's life LOL. I sit in it to do dishes and cook, sweep and mop etc. Please let me know if you have one for sale....message me please😘
