Dumpster Diving- I Found 58 Apple iPhones in the Trash! 

Epic iPhone dumpster dive! Y'all find the most awesome stuff.

I just don’t understand why don’t they donate those phones? I’m so glad there is people like you that find this stuff and repurpose it.

Orphaned tote lids make great mats to set wet/dirty shoes, use as a potting mat for plants, pet feeding mats, a place to set your open paint can when painting, etc.

OMG!! 58 PHONES !! Oh the rest of the bike was in that I could see it in video in dumpster I think u were super nervous and wanted to get out w the phones that was an awesome find !!,

A few years back, I gave my iPhone 4 to a friend, who’s dad was getting his hearing aid. It seems that a program pairs with the hearing aid as as a wireless receiver - and as he adjusts the volume on the phone, he hears it on his aid. She told me - dad heard the rain for the first time today in so many years, and he’s enjoying the clarity of it! Without the aid, he’ll usually hear a muffled sound. I was so happy for him, and never regretted giving away that iPhone. The hearing aid device needed a minimum iPhone4 model to be paired, and at that point, they were hard to find as the current models out were the 6s & 8s. Not sure if there’s a senior’s facility you can donate the usable iPhones to, for residents who needs uses hearing aid? Great find - god bless 🙏🏻

You should check the dumpster again where you found all those tote lids. Maybe the rest of the totes will be thrown out separately.

The iphones might be trade ins for the new iPhone 12. I know that a few of the cell phone companies are doing bring in your old iPhone and get an iPhone 12 for next to nothing. Good find!

They used to have a service that sends phones to service men & women overseas. They sent postage paid envelopes to send mine. You might want to look on line to see where you can do that in the future or call your local Gov't reserve offices for information on who to contact.

What an amazing discovery in this dumpster diving video! Who would throw away all of those iPhones??? More importantly, why did they get thrown away??? I can maybe see storage bins without the lids, but lids minus the storage bins, that's really odd. You and Steve really lead an interesting life. EYL
