hey Mike: So like, ya' scared the Begeezus out of me fishin' through a dumpster full of broken hunks o' glass for 2 decrepit aluminium chairs (THAT will REALLY hurt your "bourgois", boy). Then minutes later You had me howling over (shudder) the dreaded "chicken in the Texas heat". No lying, yours is my go-to favorite channel on RU-vid, and I like it that way... so keep safe, leave the chills for someone else. Love your sense of humor... plenty thrilling for me .in friendship, Mary Lou.
those broken glass can break into tiny pieces that can easily stick to your pants and then you sit on and.. wow. i just can't stop imagining.. just be more careful out there mike...
Hello! Mike, I watch your videos about the finds in trash containers, they throw out a lot of paper, cardboard and nobody collects it. I live in Ukraine, Kramatorsk, we have cardboard, paper, PET plastic bottles, aluminum cans, glass bottles are collected mostly by the homeless or alcoholics, and those who do not want to work. All this second raw material is very cheap, especially plastic PET bottles. Very little metal is thrown away, I collect it myself, various electronics are very rare.
Greetings Mike. Let's fill Dottie up safely, okay. If you don't get outthere, then no treasures. Mike your shenanigans are AWESOME/PRICELESS. GOD BLESS you always. Be safe, healthy &blessed always
Old EMT trick: dab a little Vicks under your nose when you go diving. Keeps the dumpster juice smell at bay. All you smell is the Vicks. Works like a charm!
Hey Mike I think I have an idea to get stuff out of a dumpster with glass in it next time . Take your hammer or something and break the glass up and it should fall down lower and I can stop cringing worrying that you are going to fall on a peice like what you slid down the side . You left that glass sticking up above the sides and I was worried you would slip and it would just cut you in half . I'm allergic to glass , I had over 500 stiches in me when I was 1 1/2 yr. old . I hate to get cut by glass.. You be more carefull . I've been a recycler (scrapper) my entire life. I'm now 69yr . We need good recyclers like you .
Great job in the hot heat...who on earth would be raw chicken in a cloth bag, yuck! Great find, copper..I can hear that person saying to himself, "what! I threw my copper away after I went to a that trouble of stripping it" man..thanks mike😊...
Ohh Mike...the chicken, I feel for you! Back in the college summer jobs days I worked for my small home town city services. We were the guys that did all the odd jobs that needed to be done. That included filling in on the garbage truck so those guys could take vacation time. One very hot August day I grabbed up someone’s old style galvanized steel trash can and proceeded to pour what had been a chicken into the back of the truck... It was something out of a horror flick, obnoxious looking liquid with the most foul odor and then the bones poured out at the end of it. 😑 I nearly lost breakfast and didn’t even look forward to lunch.
You are making me nervous watching you dig around that broken glass. When you slipped I thought you were gonna have your own personal Final Destination Moment.
Battery Backups -found 18 of them in a BatteriesPlus dumpster one night. We would also find tons of batteries of all sizes. BatteriesPlus doesn’t recycle batteries like they should and at least half of them still had life in them.
I hit those dumpsters you got those light fixtures that you broke the black plastic from. Those "bulbs" in those dumpsters have big aluminum heatsinks (the fins look kind of like spirals). Might worh a second look.
