I love it when you give us a closer look at the Donation pile, and…….. your volume for both of you was perfect. I was so happy that nothing was sliced or painted. Maybe someone at the store is watching your videos and realizes that they are missing the opportunity to help those less fortunate.

Always keep Bungie cords handy, always put a box on the ground to put stuff in right away, always take the top junk out and outa your way first you can always throw it back in. Keep a messenger bag handy for small things, you need to drive your van, the car is waaaay too small. 👍👍👍👍👍

These are always fun to watch, in my younger days before cellphones & social media, i dumpster dove ( we actually called it “ Alley Hopping” lol!) and loved exploring abandoned farms & school houses & churches & the like! It was such a fun time!!!!

Hi Stevensteph, i watched a vid where you left a dented metal drink bottle but kept the lid. To remove dents from metal bottles fill to brim with water, screw the top on and freeze. As the water expands to ice it will push the dents out. Repeat till all dents are out. Love your vids. Donna from western Australia.

I thought perhaps the wheels could be taken off and the feet capped. If one wheel couldn't be fixed. I saw there was hardly any room in the car for it. I think she did right at the time throwing it back but I did feel it as such a shame.

Well done that stuff was great you got - I used to love going to the skips with my dad.He used to pick his friend up from work and he worked at the skips, I got lots of stuff and almost every kid in our village had a bike cause Pat my dad’s friend would keep all the bikes and my dad would fix’s them for the kids ❤️😊 good times

years ago when I worked retail, we discovered the girls were putting things in the dumpster and writing them off as damaged, and later going back and picking up the merchandise. Yep, its steeling, but this is not, but be careful you might run into someone who put this stuff in the trash for later.

I know you've said many times that Steve is your getaway driver but it is frustrating to watch you tote everything back to your car.. I usually end up talking to the screen saying.. omg get out n help her! But I'm guessing your system works for you guys it's just frustrating watching it. You are one of a few dumpster diving RU-vidrs who do not make profit out of the stuff you find from dumpsters (aka. garbage). I see many RU-vidrs who grab stuff from dumpsters (especially makeup and skin care stuff which have expiration and health risks) and sell them online as brand new, not even as used, by hiding the fact that those stuff came from dumpsters and absolutely used. I enjoy watching your videos from digging out dumpsters up to dropping them off at donation sites or giving them away.

I used to go diving over 30 years ago (before it became trendy!) and my best find ever was mint condition Vintage Barrie and Ken, Skipper dolls…and ALL the clothes and small items included! Do you know what I did with it all? I let our 7-8 year old daughters have them! I know I could have sold them and got a lot of money! But motherly love! The things you do eh?! 😘

I also used to go DDing 30 years ago. One of the best hauls I got was enough laundry detergent for a year from a store that was closing down. Ah the good ol days when store owners didn't care if you got stuff.

You can keep a bag of socks in the car. Supposedly, that is the main request of the homeless. You can hand them out or take them to a shelter.

You might want to take the tags off the items you find so that they can’t be returned to the store. I’m pretty sure that’s why stores slash and paint the things they throw away. I know of a store that donated some things and didn’t do that and people brought them back for a refund or credit.

Research fact: the least articles of clothing given to homeless people are socks, gloves and hats. And to think: those are the pieces of clothing they mostly need to keep their limbs and heads warm!
