More busy days on the farm blowing and pushing snow with the John Deere 6175. I started cleaning the shop and building some new pallet racking shelves. Some of the items I worked with caught on fire which was neat. The charismatic hound dogs wrestled in the crisp, fridged air while the hardened, crunchy snow danced beneath their paws. An eagle screamed in the distance. Does anyone read the descriptions?

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

I can second this. I used to work at a factory with some that were even larger. I once saw a forklift driver misjudge putting a pallett up. He had three shelves come down on the lift along with about 7,000 lbs of parts onto the lift. (the cage saved him but not his pants 😁) Thankfully the legs of the rack and the top layer stayed put because of the legs were bolted to the floor. That steel will twist if you aren't careful.

Your local habitat for humanity might be a place to take the windows. Suggestion- attach the shelving to the wall, near the top, with good strong lags. Those pallet racks 😅 yeah. Eventually, I came up with a system... Lean end against the wall, but a beam real low to connect to other end. Now come back and do one at 5'. If you do the back side first, less ducking. What's real fun is putting them up with a fork lift. Get em started on low beam. Platform, rails (on an angle), platform+ rail. Bring forks between the ends, climb up on the forks, hook up the back rail then front rail. Now the platform. Rails on an angle so they can fit between your end stands...

Fire and snow sounds kinda wild, but your hard work to keep us fed will get it out of it, it don't make sense I know but what the hell anyway. Impact technology - there's the answer! :)

Hey Zack. Since you are going to be in Tulare (pronounced "to Larry") you might want to stop at Hilmar Cheese in Hilmar CA. Last year between the Texas plant and Hilmar CA plant they made over 1B lbs of cheese last year. I have been working with Hilmar for the last 25 yrs. I think you viewers might be interested. Enjoy the videos and your sense of humor.

@@deadghost1964this is a reference to another popular channel, It is a colloquial term started by the author of that channel referencing the lifestyle of hard working people in the Great Outdoors.

Have fun in Tulare. Bird dog the best fodder manufacturer to sponsor Mike at Our Whyoming Life. 5 years of drought. Drive up and film the coast would be great content.

The Windows, donate to Habitat For Humanity, or similar, house build. They can build the frames to fit the window. Or build yourself a new grain dryer shack and build to fit. Good luck 👍👍
