Duna Mall! Park Spotlight 343: Planet Coaster 

Hey MRvanderPants here, thank you for the kind words and feedback! That sushi shop you talked about at the start of the video was indeed mine, and I added a miniature from it to this sushi shop, similar to my shop-coaster contest entry in the tiki-chiki shop (in case anyone was wondering what that was haha). And I was also planning on adding both a darkride and coaster in the cinema, but due to time constraints I wasn't able to add those. But again, thank you for all your feedback! I'm really motivated to make a 2.0 version for this park 💪

Even tho the park is not jam-packed of flatrides and roller-coasters - MAN I LOVE THIS BUILD. It is very immersive and looks amazing. And the main attraction is really entertaining and well integrated. This will most likely end up in my top five.

I am truly impress by those buildings. Not only are they so well done in "Planco terms" (using curves and other hard techniques), but they just feel so real! Because of how the paths, stairs and floors are organized, it truly feels like a simulation of a real place. It's amazing. I don't often get this feeling in Planco. Even in the best legendary rank creations, there often are aspects of the park's organization that feel "video-gamy" and would never occur in reality. But here? I can see an architect actually building this. It's incredible. I guess there is more left in the bracket, but so far, it's the one I like most. And I am kinda glad that it is for this unusual reason.

I really like this. I tried doing a mall park as one of my earliest builds. It was very boxy and bland, but I had a lot of fun with it. I can tell this creator had fun with their own mall build. I really like the concept of it. Some of my local malls have had big, giant carousels as centerpieces, one of them replaced theirs with a giant chess board, then an ice rink. I've always thought it was really cool when mall did that kind of stuff. Sadly, now that all the malls are dying, they don't spring for that because it just isn't in the best interest of the budget. I think though that places like Mall of America, which has an amusement park inside; or the Grove which is like a really big Main Street USA, are definitely standouts when it comes to malls. And if this creation was real, it would totally be one place that I would love to go to simply because I like that aspect. I like that it also embraces the outdoors. Again, the Green Space type malls are so interesting. It gives you a break from the monotany of just the white walls and the inside echoes. Very cool. This is one olace where I wouldn't mind doing some Black Friday shopping (that is... if I did any Black Friday shopping)

Great park. The modern aesthetic reminds me a lot of the mall near me. king of Prussia. Overall great job. Though I do feel the outside street should have had s few buildings

This mall is so beautifully made. The details and the layout is so freaking good. It's warm and welcoming. I know flat rides in mall usually won't have any skins, and they look perfect according to your story, but since it's a competition I do feel it will play against you. Like Johnny, I want to see more!! Please expand this park 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Also, I am going to steal a lot of ideas from your park 😂 Great job❤️ one of my fav in the whole competition

I love the concept of a failed mall turned theme park. This park looks so cool and is very unique. So many awesome details, masterpiece

Loved this architecture maybe if today's malls had done this they might not be extinct. Your main water cascade was so much fun. I also love that you showed off your shops often times it's so overlooked.

This is awesome! I generally kind of dislike going to malls because my mom has a shopping obsession but this is a mall I would love to go to!

The building work and the shops are amazing. I like the realism. The interiors are really impressive, will have to take look myself on how you did those. I suck at buildings so this is awesome.

This is beautiful! I would have loved to see more thrill rides, but this will still be in my top 5 for sure.

Less is more. Sometimes a flat ride doesn’t have to be all fancy especially in a build like this that is supposed to simulate low budget.

The post-modern architecture is really nice and realistic (yes, I said realistic, don't kill me 😁). I also like the idea to turn it into a theme park. But then make it a theme park. For my taste there is not enough happening. There are a lot of missed opportunities. Concerning the rides it is just the bare minimum. One main attraction, which was fun. 3 flatrides, without any skin and barely integrated. And this was one requirement of the competition. To skin the rides. The shops were great and believable to be in a mall. Also the 3 entrances are absolutely realistic. The subway station was cool. It would have been amazing if the monorail would have been used there... the parking lot - great opportunity for a go cart ride... thats a bit sad... the other entrance with the boats... how fun would it be to have a boat ride there? A kiddy coaster in one of the empty shops? this park could be improved very easily, cause everything is already there... would love to see that and come again...

Beautiful building full of details, vey well done. I would have liked to see something done with the terrain surrounding the park or the entrance. Not an entire city but something idk, the view watching the lake for example.Other than that, I really liked it.

Please refrain from using the term "Avoid it like the plague" as this has turned out to be mostly untrue. Also love the park!

dunno why everyone is freaking out about this so much, like it is so bland and basic, but maybe this is an american thing to love malls that us europeans don't understand. like yes, the buildings are advanced but the flatrides are unskinned and srsly "mall" is not a theme for a themepark, but yeah, guess i cannot like every creation
