Did same type adapter, just welded in some steel plates connecting pipe spacers together forming welded bell housing. Now more rigid and easy to separate, nice job, thanks for sharing 👍
I was looking for an inexpensive method of fitting a clutch to a gx160 and yours is the cheapest. I don't know if the crankshaft can handle the side load from the pressure plate long term though.
There's no reason that wouldn't work. The engine might be a little underpowered so the gearing may not be ideal. But, it should move a small buggy. I'd be surprised if it got over 35 mph (56 kph) though.
