For example, I didn't expect to appear Abulurd in Issue 2, because in the novel, his plot line starts later. C'tair's IX parts are also much longer in the novel, and he met with Miral Alechem much later. He spent years alone, fighting back as he could do. Duncan Idaho 's training on Ginaz is really rushed here, I think it was like 1 or 2 pages in Issue 3. Basically every plots are rushed, but fortunately still the Harkonnen ones look like the most detailed.
Yes, the problem is House Harkonnen is much longer novel than House Atreides, but they still kept the 12 issues format. House Atreides also merged things, but there, it worked better. However the art is better in House Harkonnen comic in my opinion. The characters themselves also looked good in House Atreides, but, mainly in the last issues, they were pretty rushed.
