Mason, feel free to ramble as long as you like. My favorite videos on your channel are the “animation is not just for kids” one, the villains one, and the Anastasia one, for their sheer length. Your voice tends to not fluctuate in terms of volume, while still delivering quality entertainment/information, making it enjoyable for me, who puts on long-form content while doing something else for background noise.
Oh also if you want to get into miniature painting and dioramas, you could turn that popcorn bucket top into a sandworm and pair it with one of Meng's Dune model kits
Couldn't agree more, i was surprised to see a packed movie theater when I saw it in imax yesterday. Just shows that a quality film will still draw audiences. I think my favourite part was the visual design of the Harkkonen planet really captures the vibe of a super industrial synthetic hellscape.
I saw it earlier today. Watching these films feels like how I imagine it was to watch the LotR trilogy in theaters. Strong frisson throughout and now I need to go out and see it again in IMAX
As a fellow mason that watched dune part 2 today, I'd have to agree with you this movie was awesome man. Watched dune 1 for the first time the day of and it was nowhere near the quality of part 2 but its still great
I would personally disagree that Dune Part Two lacks handholding. I personally felt that while it was possible to walk away from your first reading of Dune thinking Paul was the good guy before thinking about it with a little depth, Dune Part Two plays its cards a little more openly and makes some subtleties rather obvious.
You shouldn't expose yourself like that. First part did a great job of setting up the universe, you just had to pay attention, which is hard in the times of tiktok, but you should try.
@@UhOhUmm No. I watch lots of different kinds of movies and Dune was extremely boring and pointless. My husband read the books and said the movie was hard to follow for those who didn't read the books. It doesn't have mass appeal. No need to be haughty about it.
