sadly, these feats are only possible because their body weight are so small, they don't have to consume energy to lift their own. more like, imagine if there are enough of these beetles to make up the volume of a human, they can easily move a car with little effort.

Luckily insects can't grow too large due to the oxygen limitations that occurs due to the inefficiency of their system when the body size increases. A human size preying mantis gonna be so deadly.

They will kind of duck their heads and Lower their antennas...they watch the movement, but never ever will they abandon their egg ball !. They'll zig & zag around a large obstacle and get back on track. They will step on it if they think you're messing with them. Honorable and brave !.
