I use the action recording tools in the options menu to pre-record my combos. I then just replay the chain of actions to record them with the video capture software to make editing a lot easier in case I drop a combo lol. That's why the damage values are only displayed when I'm doing air-to-air, anti-air, and that one parry combo since I'm using the action recording tool to have the AI jump and attack me while I record those combos in real time. At least you get an idea of how much damage they do by looking at the health bar lol.
