You were right about there being a shot of the winged lion in the opening but it was actually in the first opening! That's one of my fav parts

the elf soldiers, if you look closely, some of them have their ear trimmed, like some kind of markings minor spoiler: those with the marking on their ears are soldier with criminals background and forced to join the army. so basically, they are an elvis suicide squad :))

the golden kingdom is inside the dungeon, it's a hidden place with lots of magic around it so it only looks like it's on the surface. a lot of the questions and mysteries get solved in the 2nd season. :sob: it's not over yet but i already miss it.

The marks are magical symbols, some are for fighting, practicalities, and some are just intentional camouflage. Elves aren't exactly feminine, more like, androgynous. It’s specified in some extra settings how they don’t differentiate feminine or masculine fashion, most people wear skirts with little decoration, even armors for canaries are non binary. And they don’t really focus on gender when it comes to courting, etiquette or anything. Our traditional roles are more of a tall-man thing. Other races also have their own gender ideals.

Fun fact, fairies are magical creatures created through herbs, the blood of their owner, and horse droppings. There’s also ejaculation, but not clear from what creatures.

kinda gross but one time when i was eating eggs i sneezed and the egg went up into the back of my nasal cavity. felt weird and hurt like hell. eventually by looking up the eggs fell down my throat, leading to an even grosser feeling. i didnt eat eggs or bread for at least a year after that.

the elves are matriarchal society, so there's only two men on the elf squad we see

Not spoiler) Things in elven society are rarely gendered, even clothing is basically the same. It’s hard to tell their gender through visible or physical differences, other than in a few rare cases, such as Cithis, the darker-skinned woman in this episode, but she is an enchantress who plays tricks on noelven aristocrats to seize power, so she tends to dress and shift to appeal. So this troop probably just, happened to be four women two men
