Watch the playthrough of this solo adventure. The Legend of Drizzt is a dungeon crawler board game in the Dungeon & Dragon world. Roll your d20 and combat monsters, collect treasure and level up your character with XP.
Awesome job. I have to say, many people “think” they explain game rules well in videos. I’ve never seen anyone actually show the rulebook as they are reading it. Man, that helped me. I don’t know why. Maybe it was just slowing down and caring that someone gets what you’re talking about. I love the “Drizzt” books, so I think this would be a winner. Again, nice job.
@@MeepleVillage If you are a fan of fantasy/D&D, they are a good read. There’s like 30 books, lol. I started with “The Dark Elf Trilogy”. It introduces Drizzt. Take care.
Thank you for putting out this video. I love to play games and have quite a few, but my situation doesn't allow me to be with a group very often to play them. I decided to see if there were fun games I could play by myself. This looks great, thank you!
You are amazing! You have such a great talent of explaining. You patiently walkthrough all while being entertaining and informative. I love the way you say Little Goblin at 16:40 of this video. Soo funny! My son just learned to play and this video helped me assist and walk him through the rules. I appreciate you and am now officially a huge fan. Thanks again. My son Michael says hi
Wow, thank you! Happy you enjoy the video and thank you for the kind words! Hope you enjoy gaming with Michael. I will make sure to send him a shout out in one of my next videos!
@@MeepleVillage how sweet. He will love that so much. Thank you for thinking of him in a shout out. We’ll be listening for it. He is at that perfect age and is soaking it all up. Very happy to share this with him. These videos really help reduce the pregame stress of rules. Those can be overwhelming and you have a great way of calming that with these videos. Thank you!! We appreciate you!
This was great... Thank you. Only note I have is the HP tokens are meant to track damage, not current HP. This comes into play when a hero levels up. Using the alternative method means a hero would heal 2hp when leveling up. So, Drizzt was actually at full HP when the scenario ended... A nearly impossible feat for anyone not named Drizzt Do'Urden!
Omg you got to lvl up! I've played my wrath of ashardalon at least 10+ times now and have yet to lvl up hahaha 😂 I think my d20 is broken 😂😂😂 Thank you for playing! I own this and wanted to watch a vid on it and you did a fantastic job at playing and explaining everything yer doing. Good teacher!
LoD scenarios are not meant to be played as a campaign unless you house rule it. There are even competitive and team vs team adventures. Maybe you mean using a non official campaign variant.
I just got done reading the first book in the series and was immediately hooked! Then I find out there's a game too? It looks like so much fun! I have to buy it!
I was under the impression that for Adventures 1-4 while using the Drizzt Do'Urden Hero card you were able to choose one of the Daily Ranger Power cards and two of the Ranger/Drow Utility Powers from the BASE card deck (numbers 1-100) that are associated with the Drizzt Do'Urden hero cards? In this playthrough you used the "Cloud of Darkness" Utility card that is represented with the Drow Mercenary (168/200). I might be wrong, but are all the DROW ability cards interchangeable with each character? Great video!
Great tutorial. I find the octave audio effect on your voice very distracting though. Appreciate your time put into this and I am looking forward to trying this game out.
at 34:21 i think you didnt count well (it doesnt matter since u didnt go there but)...correct me if im wrong since im new to this. i think its not allowed to move diagonally between 2 tiles. you counted 7-8-9 and that was moving diagonally between the tiles. am i wrong? or did i understand the rule wrong?
Yes, some encounters refer to the value at the bottom of the cards. For example, there is a card that forces you to draw two treasures when you defeat monsters and discard the most expensive one.
