I just wanna say, this is the most rewarding kickstarter I’ve ever received. Including great quality miniatures a labeled map of the setting, pins for factions and battle maps for written encounters! This is also one of the most well written modules I’ve ever read, way more organized and helpful than most WOTC products. We’ll done and thanks Dungeon Dudes! My parties gonna love this campaign.

My players just (unexpectedly) took the Cosmological Clock tower last session and they are all loving it. We had our first PC death during the fight with the Crimson Countess and it had been an amazing world to play in. Great work you guys. We're all thrilled to be a part of the world you two have made!
I'm so excited to be running this campaign. I'm a relatively new DM with this being my 3rd campaign I'm running. It will also be my first session 0, and with these videos and the detailed book I'm confident that I can do it justice.
I got my items a few days ago and everything is fantastically beautiful, especially the dice and the leatherbound sourcebook. Thank you Dudes so much for bringing this world to life! Can't wait to implement Contamination and multiple Drakkenheim-esque cities into the Mournland area of the Eberron campaign setting!

When starting a new campaign as a DM I often spend time thinking about how to improve it: changing details to make the story more three-dimensional, correcting the balance of combats, enhancing the NPC, and downloading fixes in gameplay. Can't wait to get my hands on this book and try to run an intriguing Drakkenheim story even if they are a few one-shots. Thinking about it Drakkenheim would fit nicely as a domain of dread with the horror themes presented.
This is a fascinating setting to me. Especially to find that things like Rope Trick or the Mansion spell don't provide protection (like most would expect) against the Haze.
I know I'm still running a couple campaigns already (and for some reason trying to plan out another one) but I am so sorely tempted to be using this template. It's a really great concept!
I delight in perceiving The Dungeons of Drakkenheim as an amalgamation of Cyre of Eberron and Baldur's Gate, Toril along with other homages to other campaign settings, mainstream, and cult following tropes. Bravo, I'll hopefully be roleplaying in Drakkenheim soon!
We are currently playing the Drakkenheim campaign and my friends are loving the sandbox environment :) We had one player taking the telepathic mutation after a bad corruption role and is abusing of its power hahaha
Your channel was the one that initially lured me into playing DnD 5e, but several months ago I've decided to make a transition into Pathfinder 2e. However, getting my players into Drakkenheim is something I was looking for a long while, and so I've decided to try and adapt your campaign into the Golarion setting and its native game system. I cannot praise you enough for leaving a lot of things open to interpretation, as it has allowed me to insert Westemar almost seamlesly into the larger world. And while I struggle on the mechanical side of things, the general plot, adventure structure and all narrative points are working perfectly right out of the box. Thank you very much for making it all possible!
A divine intervention is called such because the person believes it is their god intervening. But in Drakkenheim to most it seems no different than good luck, a casting of a spell, or some form of odd miracle that the clerics prayers are answered.
Got the KS on the shelf for some time. Today is first day of prepping towards 2024. So far, awesome material in these videos. I will make a turn and put Drakkenheim in my Ptolus world, sending PCs from there up to this sad realm. I love the idea of incorporating this city and it's surroundings to our world so we can always "come back"
I would love to play a celestial warlock for this kind of campaign, being an agent of the Old Gods, or Sacred flame sent to investigate the upstart meteor and faction it created.

22:34 I have a question regarding the classification of mageborn. If a character is from a race with innate spellcasting (Tieflings, Aasimarr, Yuan-Ti, etc.) but does not have levels in any class or subclass with arcane spellcasting, are they a mageborn?
Chain is always fun, because pets are pure shenanigans. Taking some of the Pact specific invocations can really make your companion shine as much as any other party member. Go wild!
I’m ordering this week and appreciate these videos. Question: if people’s are unable to take a long test in Drakkenheim then how are there factions already living there?
It’s all explained in the book, but in short, all the factions hold a position in Drakkenheim, but are operating out of a location near the city, or somewhere safe from the haze. They switch in and out in shifts to avoid contamination, and this is why the party becomes the crucial part of the story. No faction has had the means to push further in, until the party shows up and decides who to help, and who to hinder.
You guys should upload shorts of each season's intros but without player characters being mentioned for DMs to play at each session. Also a short that is a montage of all the times Monty laughs manically.
I've been listening to your campaigns for a while and I'm all caught up, so I'm quite familiar with the fantastic world you've built. I've been wanting to buy the book for a while but I'm not sure I'll be able to gather a group stable enough to play through it, so I've been putting it off until just now, only minutes before writing this comment. I think I spend about a minute reading the book until i ran over the word Westemär. As a European (Dane) the spelling rubs me the wrong way, since I know how you guys pronounce. The dots over the a should change the sound of the word quite a bit. Where I'm from that letter is not used, but neighbouring countries do and it makes and ae sound. So the way you've decided to spell it, it should be pronounced more like Westemaer or Westemere. Here we would use the letter æ for that sound, which to my knowledge only exists in the Danish and Norwegian alphabets, but is interchangeable with the ä that many of our neighbours use.
